  1. Everyone has the right to protect themselves. I'm not sure the 2nd Amendment only protected certain ages, guns, etc. The God given right to protect oneself being further protected by the 2nd Amendment seems to me that somewhere in the last 200 years someone decided to limit our rights. I fear in a decade or two our rights will be viewed just as extreme and will be restricted in the name of security and common sense solutions. I'm sure 100 years ago even 50 years ago a 17 year old could carry a gun and no one cared. In this situation I would probably tell her to not broadcast that to people, but I certainly wouldn't rat her out like she is a second class citizen. This isn't Germany is it? :usa: I might just be too far right in my opinion or at least that's what the media tells me. Night :snore:
  2. I agree with the others, I don't give the HCP with DL. If all they get is the DL, then when they run it and find that I have a HCP that is the same as if I had shown it to them in the first place. But at the same time the chances of them disarming or asking about it after going to their car to do what they do are not very good because 1. they are handing you a ticket or warning when they do come back to you or 2. they know from running the DL that you have a HCP, which makes it much less likely that you are a criminal. I've been stopped three times over the last couple of years for lights going out and twice I didn't show my HCP with DL and nothing happened. The one time I did show it together, just to see what would happen, I could tell the officer was very nervous and when he came back had a second officer with him on the other side of my car. So in my opinion its much better not to inform unless they ask. What momma doesn't know wont hurt her.  JMO
  3. Nashville, TN is one of the cities that is part of the Major Cities Chiefs Police Association. Charles Ramsey is representing that organization to help pass this "Assault" Weapons ban.
  4. Im tired of the hunting references. Like everyone that has guns are hunters. I must have missed the part in the 2nd amendment where they said its purpose was hunting.
