I have been slammed and haven't had a chance to confirm with the spent cartridges I have but try to check first thing in the morning. -
for-sale 7.62x51 / .308 Hirtenberger 960 rounds

It has been stored in heated and air-conditioned space since I bought it and I have used several thousand rounds with zero issues. Not a single hang fire or failure to detonate. The last 2 pictures are one of the boxes I have open but the box I am selling is in the first pictures and still sealed. Inside each box are those smaller boxes as in the next to last picture and the rounds inside are sealed in a plastic bag. -

A farm would be better than a range because you can set up all kinds of fun things to shoot at. Everyone I know that had land has either moved or downsized or development has encroached and now that I have fun toys I have no place to enjoy them. I have a friend about 2 1/2 to 3 hours away but he travels a lot and that's not really convenient for regular shooting.

Most ranges (and there aren't that many ranges in middle Tennessee to begin with) don't welcome full auto firearms. Nashville Armory will but I would rather be outside and have longer distances. So are there any private shooting clubs or ranges or people who allow there land to be available for full auto both hand held and belt fed? Thank you.

The only shop I have found that has any kind of selection and doesn't think anything that is not a black plastic gun is worthless is The Franklin Gun Shop off 65 at the Highway 96 exit.

A couple of weeks ago they a lot at Bass Pro Shops at Opry Mills. None of the 8mm I was looking for but plenty of 7.

Exactly and because it is an explosive all the mail order sources charge a big hazardous handling fee and make you buy a case. I tried Bass Pro and you guys are correct. I had never seen it there or asked and they only have Pyrodex on the website so I didn't think they had it. But when I called they said they did normally stock it but only have FFFFG at the moment and I need FFFG. They said they do try to keep it in stock but like all firearms related stuff it is hard for them to get. So I will keep trying. Thank you guys for letting me know they have it. And if anyone knows any other places let me know too but I'll keep trying at Bass Pro.

Before I call every store in a 100 mile radius I thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows who stocks true black powder in middle Tennessee. I am not looking for substitutes like Pyrodex or Triple 7 or smokeless. I am looking for real black powder from a reputable manufacturer like Goex, Swiss, etc. Thanks.

I knew it was the police in Nashville but I didn't think it would be that simple. I figured there had to be some department or person that would need it but I will send it to the chief today and get my FFL in the mail today. Thank you.

I have my application ready but the last box you need to initial is for the copy to the Police Chief or Sheriff. I am in Davidson County and made about 20 phones calls today being referred from one number to another, first to Metro Police, then someone had me call the Davidson County Sheriff's office. Then after being referred to half a dozen numbers in the Sheriff's Office I finally had someone that sounded like they knew and sent me back to the police. Then multiple calls from one department to the other in the police department and not one person had any idea to exactly who or what address I should send it too. Ended with a message to the Records Department and haven't had my call returned. The C&R FFL form says the Police Chief but I imagine in a city the size of Nashville it needs to go to a specific person or department. Does anyone have an department and address to send it to in the Metro Police Department? Thanks.
