Just joined myself. Welcome.

Went to the range yesterday with my new SR9c and fired off 50 rounds. Not much, but I only had a short window of time. Zero malfunctions.
The reviews are correct. Very smooth trigger. I look forward to many years with this gun.
I had my heart set on the Glock 19. However, saving $100 at this point was a huge plus. I also like the safety. I still hope to add a Glock sometime down the road - they are great pistols.

Knoxville guy here. Currently own 2 firearms. An H&P Pardner Pump Protector 12 ga, and a recently purchased Ruger SR9c 9mm.
I grew up around guns - my father was a police officer. There were always loaded guns in our house - we just knew not to play with them. I just recently became interested in them for personal use.
I plan on getting my carry permit within the next couple of months after I get a little more range experience with my Ruger (though it would be much easier with a Luger 22).
Looking forward to gaining some wisdom and experience from you guys.
Permit Question (shooting part)

I tried to search and found nothing.
How many do you have to hit during the shooting part to qualify - particularly the furthest target? I have no worries about the 3 and 7 yards.
Thank you for the help.
