  1. I spent the past 7 days in Jackson Hole, Wyoming + had the pleasure of exploring the Grand Teton National Park with my newly engaged fiancee. We spent the greater majority of our time exploring the Grand Teton National Park, the National Elk Refuge, snowboarding at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, + most importantly, eating!

  2. I love my FN 45. Mine's not a tactical model though. You will not regret this. Now if you can just find a good ankle holster.

My only regret is that I did not finalize the build sooner!

    Those are some rockin boots!

Nice setup, from the FDE pistol to the light, RMR, and suppressor, looking good!

    Thank you, sir!

Your gun lives up to your screen name

Yeah, I don't know which is flashier...the pistol combo or your boots! lol

Just kidding. I know. It's the boots!

    Without question, my friend!

How much of a shadow is the suppressor casting with the hang over the light like that?

The shadowing indoors is minimal. It helps having raised suppressor sights + reflex sight to boot!

All jokes aside, I think you picked a great suppressor, and although I personally am not an FN fan...that is a very good looking combo.

My only wait was on a 22 can several years ago. I think it ran the full 9 months I was told to expect back then. Thankfully the waiting time seems to be much shorter now.

For the FN FNX 45 Tactical, the Osprey was a absolute must. Plus, SilencerCo stopped selling the factory coated FDE Osprey cans for a bit. Once they became available, it was a no brainer for me. It is my first of many suppressors! Up next will be a 22 can + 9mm can for my Glock 17/19's. Thank you for the kind remarks, my friend!

I can't see anything past the amazing boots. What can? What gun? All I see is S-t-y-l-e!!!

Thank you for the solid laugh, my friend!

I am jealous. I have a black FNX .45 with and RMR that is waiting for that same attachment!.

It is a timely process but the end result is worth the wait, my friend! Be sure to update us when you have completed your build out!

  3. First and foremost, Merry Christmas!

After months of passively searching, I purchased a factory FDE SilencerCo Osprey 45 suppressor for my FN FNX 45 Tactical in FDE. I purchased the suppressor via GunBroker from BMC Tactical/Warrior Steel. After remitting my payment 45 days ago, my suppressor arrived at my preferred LGS, the Nashville Armory. The wait time officially begins as my paperwork has been submitted!

  4. Merry Christmas, TNGunOwners!

After a three-month buying hiatus, I am officially back in the saddle! I am closing out the year with the purchase of a Arsenal SLR107-34.

My newly acquired SLR107-34 is on the bottom of the photograph + the SLR107-31 is on top.

  5.

This is my 4th attempt to get this thread to post so I'm going to cut it short.

Yesterday I tested 2 of the Magpul G17 mags and they worked just fine. Fit an finish was pretty cheap and worse than I was expecting from Magpul but I was happy there were zero malfunctions.

At $15 a piece you'll have to determine if these are worth giving a shot. CDNN always has factory Glock magazines for $19.99 so there isn't a ton of savings.

Personally, I think the Magpul mags would have more value if they were in the $12-13 price range.

Anyways, I just thought a few of you would find this valuable.

I wholeheartedly agree with your last statements, my friend. For the money, I am sticking with factory Glock magazines.

  6. I purchased my LAV RTF2 Glock 17 from the Franklin Gun Shop for $650 two months ago and it has grown to become one of my favorite pistols to shoot nowadays. There has not been a range session to date that does not include the LAV RTF2 Glock 17 in the rotation. The LAV RTF2 pistols include a great deal of value right out of the box for the money (E.G. Wilson Combat Vickers Tactical sights + TangoDown Vickers Tactical slide release, magazine release, + magazine base plates). The aforementioned firearm is my girlfriends nightstand gun. We are fans of the RTF2 frames through + through. With that being said, I plan on adding more to the lineup as they become available for purchase on the secondary market!

  7. I highly recommend the Ghost Inc Edge connector, my friend! For a mere $20, the trigger pull is reduced rather significantly. My Glock 42's trigger pull is now on par with my other Glock pistols. My grouping greatly improved + it will be one of the first modifications I make to my Glock 43.

  8. The Glock 42 was my introduction to the world of pocketing carrying. My recipe for success has been a Nemesis DeSantis holster, Trijicon HD night sights, Ghost Inc Edge connector to reduce the trigger pull from 9 LBS to 5 LBS, + Federal HST's. When I am not pocket carrying the G42, I have a G43 that I AIWB in a T.Rex Arms Sidecar appendix rig. Like my G42, I have Trijicon HD night sights + Federal HST's in my magazines + in the tube. At some point in the near future, I will purchase Ruger LCP.

  9. My PMR-30 has ran flawlessly over the span of two years. The PMR-30 + my 5.7 pistols are my favorite handguns to shoot. They are lightweight with high magazine capacities. For the money, I highly recommend it!

  10. Wow, I just want one! I must say, I think you may have a problem............

I'd like to have his problem. Sick bastard.

    :panic:

I beg to differ, my friends!  :ignore:

Where can I find those and how much do those rifles run?

    AK noob here. :D

At this stage, your best bet is the secondary market (I.E. Armslist, GunBroker, etcetera.). Century Arms International (CAI) stopped importing them a few years ago. Pricing has increased rather significantly in the last year due to their rising demand. In recent months, AES10B's have cleared the $1K marker rather consistently + fetch anywhere from $1K-$1.3K on GunBroker.

All the best in your search!

I'm thinking I might go ahead and get the SB47 brace.

Most excellent! I am interested in gaining your perspective on the SB47 brace after you put it through its paces!

  11. Last week, I added my 3rd Romanian AES10B to the line up. I sourced it from the same gentlemen that sold me my 2nd AES10B. In addition to the rifle, we struck a deal for three Romanian rear loading 75 round drums in exchange for some ammunition. He was overjoyed to complete the transaction as the funds he received from the sale allowed for him to complete the restoration process of his beloved 1968 Chevrolet C10!

    Without further ado, my AES10B's!

  12. My AK47 collection grew:

    726933d7a3d849a9bd98c58606d036a3.jpg

Also scored 2 ALG AKT triggers. But Dolomite_superfly did such a good job on the pistol trigger, I'm not changing it out. I didn't know, but the Rusky Saiga already has a Tapco G2 trigger, so I guess I need to buy 2 more AK47's to use these triggers on now.

A fine addition indeed! What are your plans for the M92, sir? I.E. SBR, Sig Brace, etcetera.

  13. 120 Mile trip round trip, $200, + 3x 1,400 Round buckets of Remington Golden Bullet 22 LR = My 2nd TGI built FEG AMD-65! The seller was seeking $550 for the rifle, one magazine, + a box of ammunition. I was able to negotiate his asking price considerably to my favor as I was willing to make the drive to him this evening to complete the transaction. It was an unexpected purchase, but I was hard pressed to pass on the opportunity given the price point! A7B2ECE5-3AB8-4F60-BF78-4240900B44F2_zps

  14. Please welcome the newest addition to the family, my Arsenal SLR107FR-31. Business as usual with Atlantic Firearms. Prompt shipping + excellent customer service! I ordered a Ultimak AK optics mount + AimPoint T2 for my build out. This will be my first stab at modifying a AK past its factory configuration.

Now, let me introduce you to MY Arsenal SLR107FR!
