  1. I hunt the WMA's in the middle TN area, and bowhunt at LBL. I do very well at our WMA's and even manage to take a nice buck or two each year. No problems getting about all the does a person wants to put in the freezer. I also rabbit hunt with my dogs on WMA's. It sure is a blast! I have to hunt WMA's because hunt clubs grabbed up everything around here.

  2. We have a store here in Clarksville that sells hardware, fishing tackle, guns, ammunition and BEER. They have a sign on the door that states. "Beer sold here, NO CONCEALED WEAPONS ALLOWED". Needless to say, I have taken all of my hardware, shooting needs and fishing needs elsewheres!! I have a motto that "My money isn't welcome no where my handgun isn't. No matter how the sign is worded! PERIOD!

  3. That is a very tricky question. It really all boils down to what the Grand Jury says. True story: A couple of years ago I was agressed by a dog, which backed me against my car with his jaws snapping like a crocodile! This was a stray dog that I have never seen before. Feeling that I was in danger of being bitten and/or mauled by this dog, and as a last resort, I drew my weapon and shot. Not being of the best of timing, I was on the phone to the sherrif's department when a gentleman drove by and seen "his" dog laying in my driveway. To make a long story short, I had the misfortune of having hundreds of dollars in attorney fees, and charged with "unlawful killing of a domestic animal". After about 3 months and other wranglings by the attorneys and prosocuter (sp), we got the charges dropped. Would I do it again? If I felt there was no other way...and at any distance!

  4. I know a Roger that is really into 2 way radios. I met him about 2 weeks ago. He was really fond of my .357 loads and wants to get with me on some reloading. So far, that is the only Roger I met. Good guy, and he loves to shoot! Thanks for your offer to help on the picture. I'm working at getting it to where I can e-mail it. I cannot for some reason get it onto the site here or the e-mail here. I guess I'm just dumber than a rock when it comes to computers!

  5. Thanks for all the welcomes, I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here. My wife is the internet "picture poster" (via e-bay), so I'll see if I can get her to put a picture up for me. Again, thanks for the "welcomes"!

  6. Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself to you all, as I am new to this board. I am a 53 year Firefighter/EMT working at Fort Campbell, and living in Clarksville, TN. I really enjoy shooting, hunting and relaoding, and my favorite "baby" is a 1911 Officer's model .45ACP. I work a day or two at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex, and would really love to do that fulltime when I retire from the fire dept in a few months.
