Or, at least open your eyes when you start shooting
Spray and pray.

Their encounter was over in eight seconds. The officers, who had been standing nearly close enough to shake hands with Mr. Johnson, fired almost immediately.Nine bystanders were wounded in the 16-shot volley, all by stray or ricocheting police bullets. None of their injuries was life-threatening, police said.GET THEE TO A RANGE....... -
With ass's like that the anti's have all the ammo they will every need.
-
For those animals, with appropriate ammo and at the appropriate range I would say, yes, no problem.

He would have been breaking the law to have followed the LEOs order to cover the gun. Then he could have been arrested for a charge that would stick.
Very likely more transpired, though.

I understand. However it is rarely productive to argue with police while holding a weapon. He could have simply left, but it appears he chose to stay and stir the pot. When I am carrying I am in avoid stir the pot mode.

Again, common sense did not prevail. He may have been right but, be he failed the, when to hold when to fold test.

They are OK.

Hunt the pawn shops for a nice Marlin. I have a pre-Marlington 336 in 35Rem that is a tack driver.

Probably not. The fact that she was shot in the torso makes clear that he was pointing the weapon at her when the trigger was squeezed. I'm going to make a few assumptions in a vacuum and guess that the shooter was either relatively new to the job, has some kind of negligent history or is not very bright.
SD Sheriff Deputies used to have to spend 3 years in the jails before they were allowed to go to patrol.

Did you see this reply on one of the sites listed? Holy cow.

Okay, so I picked one up on another forum.
Next question is:
To Scope or not to Scope? Scout scope or standard Scope?
I've never, ever had a scope on a lever action before, all my others wear Skinner peeps & I love 'em, but with the .45-70 having the potential to reach out a little further than a .44 mag or .30-30, do you think I'd see any real advantage in putting an optic on it? I already have a longer range deer rifle, but I know the .45-70 would be adequate if I happen to see a deer at loner range.
Oh, & thanks for the load data. I'll get a pound of 2400 & give 'er a try.
Is it the full length or guide model? If it is the full length I would recommend a 1x4 with lots of eye relief. I had a scout scope on my 1895ss and it didn't balance well. But the 1x4 leupold worked well.

As has been said, you can load it from mild to, detach your retina wild. I love mine. It will shoot an honest 1 inch group at 100 yards. I added a Wild West Trigger, XO sights and a sizable recoil pad. The 2x7 would also be a great choice.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission.
Yes, but they keep score.
-
What kind of accuracy are you getting with your 300blk? Can you recommend an upper?
-
I am really thinking the 300 blk would be a nice addition. What do you think of it for hunting?
-
I went there once. It was a nice place to do a transaction in the parking lot.

Again this is a misquote, a snippet of the speech and taken out of context.
http://www.whitehous...oanoke-virginiaThere are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me -- because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t -- look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.
The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.
So we say to ourselves, ever since the founding of this country, you know what, there are some things we do better together. That’s how we funded the GI Bill. That’s how we created the middle class. That’s how we built the Golden Gate Bridge or the Hoover Dam. That’s how we invented the Internet. That’s how we sent a man to the moon. We rise or fall together as one nation and as one people, and that’s the reason I’m running for President -- because I still believe in that idea. You’re not on your own, we’re in this together.
I don't agree with all that is said, but I am willing to find out what was said. I do this on both sides of the political fence, because they are both agenda driven. We live in a world of sound bites which are made to drive our emotions, not our intellect.

I have a Marlin. It is a sweet shooter. Add a set of springs and the XS sight and you will have a very nice carbine. http://www.brownells...L-SIGHT-SYSTEM#
I also have a Rossi in 44mag and one in 45colt. They are also lots of fun

I am not an Obama supporter. But I listened as this was rehashed add nausium yesterday. I then looked it up and what I read did not in my opinion say what is being reported. He said that at some point successful people had help.

Lots of silicone.

Can you imagine the conversation in the Police Chiefs office? I bet he is freekin' loosing his mind on this one.
-
The official described it as some type of "exotic dance" where Miller, 24, was tugging at Parrish's waist.

I read another article that said it was an iwb holster.

I have a friend out west that uses them in his 06 (Cali they have to use copper). He likes them, and has taken many deer and large pigs with it.
