  1. Just went to the eye doc yesterday...my prescription hadn't changed, but they gave me a different brand to try. They are thinner. First thing I noticed was I couldn't keep them on my finger to put them in. Now they seem to fold up on my eye and randomly get blurry, and I don't seem to see as well when they are clear.. I'm throwing them in the trash when I get home and going back to the acuvue oasys for astigmatism. Never had a problem with them and wear them weeks at a time...

  2. Have you tried any of the job search websites like Indeed? I see jobs posted constantly. If you would consider Logistics Sales I know Axle logistics is always hiring. My guess is a low base salary with the potential to earn a good commission.

I have browsed them...been at the same place for 20 years and do not have a resume made out yet...just made the decision I had to switch.

  3. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of someone hiring professional outside sales? Been with same company for 20 years and need to find something better for me and my family.

    Thanks,

  5. Happy 4th and love the ammo can boom box. Did. You make it or buy it?

My lovely wife bought it as a birthday gift from mancratesdotcom...neat little project!

  6. Had an old bronco that I was having duals put on...nobody would run them straight out the back for this reason. Had them ran out the side and even then if I rolled down the window running down the road you could start smelling the exhaust. Now, this was with headers, no cats, and smog pump removed (aah the good old days) so I don't know if that would make a difference.

  7. Sorry, the door is not "solid steel" I meant it was all steel; the frame and door.

No problem, just wanted to make sure people were not looking for a solid door. We have people come in here all the time looking for 1 and insist they are made.

  8. There was a safe room in the basement when we moved in; cinderblock sides, poured on the floor and ceiling, but had two regular doors.  Was going to seal one up and put a vault door on the other, but steel frame and security doors were cheaper and (in my opinion) just as effective in this situation since the good stuff is still in a safe anyways.
Estimate for the one vault door and install was going to be $4000, then additional costs to block off the other.  Two solid steel security doors with a 90 minute fire & smoke rating installed was $1700.

You got a great deal with that being installed. But, I doubt they are solid steel. But they are a 90 minute rated door. And most doors like I suspect you have are the same construction as a door rated 3 hours. Just a matter of labeling. The only thing I might do different is go with a temperature rise rated door. They are a couple hundred dollars more, but tested to insure the nonfire side of the room raises no more than 250 degrees in 30 minutes (pending wall construction).

Got mine last week and just now able to post. Got some great stuff! Got a new mag for my new 10/22. Much better than the junky ones I had! A new bore snake...can never have to many of those to have on hand in different places. And I guess I need to start a bug out bag! Got a neat little .22 ammo dispenser (never even heard of such, but wow I needed it!), some combat gauze, and a tourniquet. Not to mention the well thought out note. Thanks Santa!

2-1...I wish it was a setting to how the thread title behaves like it is for tapatalk. About 25% of the time I hit the title and have to scroll to the first unread because if I hit the back button the thread completely disappears from the unread threads..

  11. I feel the same way as you. Although I don't post much on here I do a bunch of browsing trying to learn from the great minds here. I have messed with the new format to where it is easier to use now. But I have also not checked in as much to see new content. I hope this doesn't do this as I have seen other forums do when they went away from tapatalk where people started visiting less if at all. I know I have given up on several. That being said, I did put forth the effort to learn enough about it to make it bearable. That's mostly because I do love coming on here and learning and/or coming across a deal. Honestly once you get used to it, it can work almost as well as Tapatalk and apparently can do a lot more once they customize it more.
