  1. Ive bought 5 guns from sellers on Gunbroker. each time I made a offline deal with them to save thier small GB fees. I almost always call the seller and talk with them before I make the deal. I feel I can tell alot about a person on the phone plus the emails they send. So far (Knock on wood) Ive had wonderful buys. Plus the fact my FFL on charges me 10$ and no sales tax I can get alot of good deals. Id not buy a used gun sight un seen. But any NIB gun that I know how it feels and looks is good to buy.

  2. I saw a post here with a member asking about doing a refinishing job on his safe.

This will sound crazy But Line-x it.

The cost would be about the same as a bed liner sprayed in if you do some of the prep work yourself.

Plus you can embed logos or words like this jeep.

I just like the finish it leaves and this images really dont show what a good Line-X spray finish looks like.

    Would be diffrent.

  3. Well I had a bad day .

Saturday morning I went to the Gun show at Meadowview

in Kingsport. I was there when the doors opened and I was on the hunt for a new 1911. First off there were a lot of people there. (I hate crowds) Next no CC allowed. Ok I can live with that . Then ( as per past shows there are a lot of long guns and I knew that but was hoping since a lot are out buying someone would have some handguns.). I seen almost no “New†handguns out of 200 plus tables maybe 25 new handguns. No SIGs! No 1911 (worth getting) Plus the prices…………….. on those I did see and very few even caught my eye had 25-40% mark up on what I can buy them for from out of state dealers.

Guns shows just seem to be a swap meet (or at least the ones around here)

So it’s back to the phones and the net to find my 1911.

Thanks for reading my rant.
