  1. Well, after spending the day holding and shooting several choices, we brought home a brand spankin new 9mm S&W Shield. Brought it home, cleaned and lubed it, and now she can't wait to go back to the range and run some rounds through it.

some how I kinda figured your wife would go for that one , my wife loves hers now she wants the lazer for it . Congrats ,
  2. Found this on another friends Facebook page , I would have been dead meat thinking that the threat was over when he was putting the rifle down , I respect officers even more now the things that thay go through every day , and get up and do it all over again the next day , I jest want to thank the officers that go out and put there life on the line every day , to help keep our family's safe . THANK YOU . Now how would you have reacted ???
It is important to watch the video first, then read text below.
It's short but you will catch it.

Watch The Video BEFORE You Read the Story! Pay Attention!

This video is of actual Detectives attempting to stop a CRIMINAL in Chicago.
This Video was taken by a Police Officer Videographer who, was also in harm's way.
WATCH the Video First... Two or Three Times if You Want...
    (and) THEN Read TheText Below...
DON'T READ UNTIL YOU WATCH THE VIDEO!
You may need to watch this one several times.
Please remember these cops acted in real time....
THIS PERSON DOES GET SHOT BY THE DETECTIVES.
THIS IS FOR REAL. DO NOT scroll down and read until you see this 8 sec. video.

WHAT DID YOU SEE???? Officers ordered the suspect to put the assault rifle down, and that is what he is doing, Right? it appears he is complying and then they shoot him!!!

OMG, he is shot! Is that what you saw? Do you want to know what it is like to work the streets as a cop, and what risks our Officers face daily? Watch the video again... Watch the suspect's right hand while he places the rifle down with his left hand. What you don't see by facing this Criminal face to face, but the Officer behind the suspect does see, is the suspect pulling a hidden handgun from his rear pants, with his right hand. {back-up yells "Gun"
    before firing}

Watch as the bad guy goes down..... the handgun is still in his right hand. This is a reminder... What you think you see at does not always tell the truth.

Watch it again, and learn! NOW, pass this on to EVERYONE on your email list, so they can do the same. It's time for Mr. and Mrs. Citizen as well as the Media have a better understanding of why people REALLY get shot and WHY our Officers are always in Jeopardy. Think I would rather try to ride a bull for 8 seconds, how about you?

  3. I see several sizes from letter and legal and bigger, yeah, but does look like they may have been cranked off just a passel of different laser and poster sized printers and put in plastic sleeves, some maybe laminated, probably from all over the nation and the world.

Seems to be one main "official" design, plus all the permanent closed signs that the various parks and other areas already had for regular use whenever they're closed for other reasons. Like nightly in many cases.

I'd say everybody cranked them out on all kinds of printers in a thousand different offices. They have printers in other countries too it's rumored,  and a PDF of the sign can get there pert quick what with that InterWebNet thang and all. :) :)

I agree with you Oh Shoot I think that's is what really happened .
  4. Found this on one of my friends Facebook page , never even thought about it until I read it , makes you wonder if Obama already had this pland way ahead of time to try and make it go down this way what's your thoughts???

Did anyone besides me wonder how they got all those signs distributed
far and wide, including to all the national parks and cemeteries
overseas only eight to ten hours after the government shut down? Take a
look at this from someone who wanted to remain anonymous.

I have worked in the government on and off for 40 years. During that
time I became quite familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding
contracts etc. It is a time consuming process with bean-counters and
pencil-necked bureaucrats every step of the way. The simplest request
takes months not days or hours.

In less than 8 hours of the shutdown, miraculously, professionally
printed 3X4 foot signs appeared all over the country in the tens of
thousands saying-“this [park, facility, etc. with custom logos] closed
due to government shutdown. There has not been a government shutdown in
    17 years.

These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were
then requisitioned, bids were posted and vetted, government contracts
were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured
then distributed U.S. Mails or .

This shutdown was orchestrated and planned well in advance at least 6-8
months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this
process. There is a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the
    White House.

  6. Like I said I jest don't get it all land far as parks are owned BY WE THE PEOPLE we paid for it with all OUR tax money , so if I want to go camping on property that my tax dollars paid for it I don't feel that I need gov to tell me that I can't use it . Who made them god of the land that we paid for . I don't have to have some one to hold my hand and watch out for me , I have the means to protect myself if need be . It's our right as the people not the gov-. To use these lands if we so desire.
So why can't we use them ???? Oh and we have park rangers working to keep us out , but thay can't work other wise really . , what's y'all s take on this , am I missing something here.
