  1. As much as I like that idea .... my wife would NOT!
  2. there isn't one purpose for the gun. I may carry it some, I will target shoot it, home defense ... it'll be a GP handgun for me.
  3. OK, I know opinions are like a..holes but I'm gonna ask anyway. Since I've found buyers for the two .38 cals I am selling it's time to rearm! I need (want) a 45 to replace one that was stolen some years ago. I had a Sig P220. So, what are the pros and cons of those two 45's plus any other comparable ones including the Sig? Plus, who to buy from? I live in Knoxville. Is Frontier Firearms worth the drive or should I stick locally? Thanks in advance! Larry
  4. Is there such a thing? A coworker said he wanted one, asked me if I knewanything about it. I've not heard of any .38 cal semi .... You?
  5. I'll probably let the Rossi go for $100+
  6. double action, exposed hammer ... I figure they're 25+ yrs if that link doesn't work here's one that should http://tinyurl.com/ccr3zq
  7. OK here they are: 1. Rossi .38 special serial #:D224xxx made in Brazil, the Garcia Corp, Amadeo Rossi, Sao Leopoldo, RS Ind. BHRS Marc Reg, 5 shot Chrome plated in good shape but used, black trigger cylinder button, and hammer, 2.5" barrel Nothing more, no model # Small frame revolver. uncomfortably small for my hand, may be a ladies gun. 2. Taurus .38 special (I decided to keep the S/W) nickel plated 2.25" barrel, looks like holster scratches or something on the frame. wood grips, 6 shot, Serial # 139xxxx, Forjas Taurus, Ralegre - RS - Brasil Thanks for the info and help! Larry
  8. I'm thinking of selling a couple of .38s. One Rossi and one S/w. Where can I find out what they're worth? Thanks, Larry
