  1. I've held memberships to both ranges that you mentioned. Charlie Haffner only has 12 thru 100 yard rifle and pistol ranges. On the plus side, they're open throughout the day all week and have ample number of lanes so you probably won't have any trouble finding an available lane. However, If you're a "Tactical shooter" I can't recommend this particular range as they strongly discourage repeated followup shots and will warn you to only fire single shots. If that's your thing, Maury Co. Gun Club is going to be more to your liking. It's a little ride out there but they're very "accommodating" to tactical and full auto fire. To boot, their rifle range is set up for sighting in at 50, 100 & 200 yards. On the down side, MCGC is only open weekends 1:00 pm to dark. Both of these ranges require membership. However, I'm confident that they'll allow you temp access for a nominal fee to try them out. If you're not interested in paying an annual membership fee then you're probably going to be out of luck unless you can meet a member who'll invite you as a "guest" for a daily fee, or find someone that will allow you to shoot on their private land.
