  1. Hey y'all. I have a 7mm08 that wanting to have cut down from 22.5 inches to 19. I'm having trouble finding someone to do it close to me in southern middle tn. I got 2 quotes from different smiths. Both quoted me at $90. That seems high to me but maybe not. Anybody know anyone that does a good job or if those prices are pretty standard? Thanks!

  2. That's cool man. Did that with my daughter this year. She helped me clean fish with a butter knife too. She was there when her mama and I cleaned a deer this year too and now when she sees a knife, she'll say, "Daddy, we cut the deer meat?" LOL. She saw a pink knife on the computer the other day and said, "Daddy, I get that one and cut the deer meat."

  3. Good choice. I was going back and forth between a G29 or 20 and a G23 when I first started carrying a few years ago. Could only get one gun at the time and thought the 23 could do a little of everything. I ended up going to 9mm and a G20 will be the next pistol I buy. 9mm for the streets and 10mm for the woods.

  4. Thanks for posting that Rob. Like the OP, I've been looking at these too. I have a 116 in 300 win mag but have been thinking of going to one of these in 6.5 creed as a do it all kinda hunting gun. Do you think you'd like it more in a lighter cartridge like the 243 or 6.5?
