  1. Tried to upload, got error message. The file is smaller than the stated size limit so I'm not sure what's up.
  2. I just purchased this sight have have a few comments. First, it does not seat on my Glock 43. The dovetail mount that came with the sight simply will not pull tight when the screws are set. I called support at the Mako Group (they distribute the sight) and was told I could file down the top of the dovetail mount to make it work. Instead, I just switched it to one of my Glock 19's and it fits perfectly (I also tried it on a Glock 20 and that works as well). I suspect the dovetail grooves on the Glock 43 may be milled to slightly different specs. As for sight performance, it's great outdoors. It took me a bit to get used to not searching for the front sight (which is no longer needed) but I soon got the hang of it. Also, the brighter the sunlight the clearer the sight picture. Indoors it's a slightly different story (for my eyes, anyway). So, I'm a bit leery of putting it on an EDC weapon but think it will make an awesome hunting sight. It will probably end up on the Glock 20.
  3. Thanks Leroy. In your opinion will the stock Glock 20 (Gen 4) recoil spring be sufficient for the Underwood Ammo?
  4. Are the recoil springs on the Gen 4 Glock 20's designed for full-power loads?
  5. In semi-auto???!!!!! Who makes that one!!!!
  6. So if you are deep in the woods and you have to deal with an angry momma black bear (your .338 Win mag is jammed) your preferred semi-auto sidearm would be of what caliber...??????
  7. I don't reload so any advice on legit 10 mm ammo?
  8. Hi Dave. Thanks for the thoughtful response to my question. I'm not much of an internet guy so forgive me if my question seems strange for a first post. But anyway, I have lot's of experience with many types of firearms, both rifles and handguns, but have never owned either a .40 or 10 mm. I know this might sound naive, but I'm struggling to understand why anyone would prefer the .40 over the 10 mm? My EDC is a 9mm and I feel that is adequate for personal defense. When I'm in the woods I carry a .44 or .41 mag revolver, but I'm thinking a high capacity 10mm Glock (model 20?) might be a better option. I guess my real question is what niche does the .40 fill that the 10 mm won't cover? -Jared
  9. I'm new to this forum so I'll be short and to the point. I know this topic has probably been discussed many times by you guys but can you point me to a particular line of discussion that will help me understand the advantages/disadvantages of the 10 mm over the .40 S&W? Thanks, Jared
