  1. I bought a Hex Izzy from Classic about 6 months ago. Faxed my order in, as the phone lines were always busy. No complaint on what they sent me although it was a couple of weeks in arriving and they were saying on the website they were overwhelmed with orders. Another place to consider is rguns.net. I bought my Nagant revolver from them. My round receiver Tula that came from AIM was imported by them.

  2. Not disagreeing with any of you guys about the

politics at all, but the one thing I did see wrong

with the bill was that it was for the teachers'

ability only, wasn't it? What about any adult

    with a carry permit? I couldn't trust a teacher

with a gun to provide for my safety.

That bill should have been for all law abiding

    citizens, not just a few.

It says full time faculty and staff. The colleges employ a lot of part time and contracted "temp" staff as well as adjunct faculty. They are creating an elite class that can carry and will prohibit a lot employees the right to carry that do the same jobs as those elite if they pass it as currently written.

  3. Lawmakers Consider Allowing Guns On College Campuses - News Story - WCYB Tri Cities

My boss was talking to me about this interview this morning. They may have 20 armed officers on the main campus but at another campus location they have 1 unarmed security guard that works nights at a facility where several hundred students attend from 8 am to 10 pm at night. At this facility several years ago during a weekend when no one was present, someone fired shots through a glass door down a hall.

  4. I look at this bill as discriminatory as it is currently written. The colleges are employing lots of adjunct faculty, part time staff, and "temp" employees on contract to save money. Many work full time hours and perform the same jobs as full time employees and are exposed to the same dangers. If "full time" is removed I would have no objections and think it would be a good bill.

  5. Thanks for the info, I just got done ordering one. Depending on how it checks out I may order a few more come Friday. Would you happen to have any pics?

Did you ever get yours in? Mine was full of thick grease that was stubborn to remove. I've gotten my other parts in and repaired my trigger (weak/bent trigger spring) and have the new front sight installed. My field gauge should be arriving any day and I look forward to shooting it this weekend if it passes.

  6. thanks for the pics.... looks like a nice war time stock! I hope I get a good stock on the one I ordered

It's a 1945 model. I'm off tomorrow and planning on cleaning the rest of the grease out of it. I found the best price on my missing parts at mosinmatt.com. Going to have to put a 91/30 front sight on it, can't find a M44 sight. I've got to get the headspace checked before I can shoot it. Anyone in Tri-Cities area have a field gauge?

  7. I've been using USPS for over 15 years, shipping stuff out in boxes and envelopes. The PO has twice failed to deliver in a timely manner. Both times it took about 3 months for the lost mail to arrive to their destinations. No explanations and post marked on the day I mailed it. I think it got put in a container and shipped overseas.
