Even though Haynes is against the bill you should still send him 2 or 3 emails a day until the house has acted on the bill. My Senator is Doug Henry and he is the most useless Senator on the hill but he is getting multiple emails anyway. Their job is to represent us. Our job is to tell them what we want. I think that it is vital that we do our part no matter how futile it may seem.

Holsters for the 1911s are plentiful. I think every holster maker has 'em. The FNH pistols are not very common. I prefer owb leather and got Wayne at Guns and Leather to make me one. Sorry I don't have a pic of it, but can post one if you let me know.

I work weekends, but given enough notice and depending on location, I will try to arrange it. Spouses invited too? (Mine went with me to the NRA meetings last year in Louisville and loved it).

You might take a look at the Kahr CW45. Not too bad on price, reliable and shoots great. 6+1 cap. Grip checkering is a little rough on the hands and a slip on grip took care of that for me.

I have the G27 (same size as the G26) and have owned the PT111. Both shoot fine, but the Taurus' trigger pull was so long!! My preference here is the glock. Be safe.

Don't know what your budget is for a safe, but both Lowes and Home Depot stock them. I found a good one at Academy for about $400. Hope this helps

Stopped in at Smokey Joes ( I think that's what it is) in Bowling Green a year ago;
had a 'no firearms' sign posted there. We found somewhere else to spend our money.
