  1. Me and the wife(Buzz87) went to Larry's in Huntsville and dropped a C note on ammo. Then spent some time on the range. Well, when we finished we were looking for a shotgun for Brandee, then I went to look at pistols. Here is why I am in trouble. I bought a Kimber SIS Pro:D I get to pick it up in a couple of weeks(If I am still alive)

  2. There is a mandatory safety recall out on these pistols, you guys who own them will want to look into that. The info is on Sigs web site.

These are the ones under recall

If you have a SIG SAUER P238 with a serial number between DA000501 and DA003216, return immediately.

  3. I 'heard it said' that Franklin Gun is going to be the master distributor for west of the Mississippi. There are supposed to be several dozen pallets in the pipeline headed west.

Something about T&E at Gunsite for a gunrag article.

I have my map upside down, I thought Franklin was east of the Mississippi:confused:

  4. When I first shot it my group was all over the place. Like most, I am used to full size weapons, but I adapted quickly, and adjusted my grip. It is a real good shooter. Today I shot from 7 yards and had a -1in group. Mine has Sig Night Sites and Rosewood grips, I gave about 550.00 +tax. I love it. It breaks down like a 1911

  5. I don't know if anyone has seen this yet but I can't wait to get one. It will be perfect for backing up my backup gun.

    Real Guns

I just went through Ruger's 2010 catalog and this weapon is not in there. The smallest thing they have is the LCP .380

Some is telling a good story or not. The give away should have been him telling about the shot groups from horseback.

  6. I've always been a little bit recoil sensitive and the blast and recoil of the mighty .25ACP has in my opinion always seemed like overkill, who really needs that much stopping power anyway. I'm glad Ruger is bringing out a sensible EDC gun. I can only hope it will be magna ported to allow quicker follow up shots and/transitions for multiple BG scenarios.

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  7. Can you fire cast bullets in a Glock? I posted else where I may get a 10mm, I am also thinking about G26 or 27. Just curious, I will be reloading and was trying to cut cost down a little.

  8. The reason I was looking at the 10mm was mostly just to have it in my collection. Recoil doesn't bother me, I would shoot a howitzer if it had a grip on it. I have 40s and 45s and like both, I thought it might be fun to shoot. Thanks for all the great info.

  9. Is your gun 9mm, 40, or .357sig? If you look on the front sight you should see a number, post what number the front sight is and that will let us know if it is the proper sight. Sig makes 2 or 3 (not sure) different front sights.

I just checked my wifes 239 (40). It and my 229 (40) have #8 sights. My nines have an 8 also. .45 has a 6. Not sure on the .357 sig as I don't have a dedicated .357 sig pistol, just a conversion barrel.

    Hope this helps.

Also, have you tried different ammo?

  10. I fly fish, bass, cat, and just fish. "A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work"

Where do you Musky fish? I did a little when I lived up north, loved Walleye fishing too.
