Yeah. Not saying James is the best choice. Just saying that his public displays wouldn't stop me from taking one of his courses if it fit all the other criteria.
Makes you wonder with todays society if you had taken one of his classes and was involved in a self defense shooting if it would be held against you when the prosecutor shows one of his You Tube videos or pulls out an old newspaper clipping at your trial....

I wouldn't hesistate to take a class from him. I've heard plenty of good feedback. I don't care so much about the character he plays on Youtube. He got his wings clipped pretty good with the last fiasco, so I expect a kinder-gentler character from now on. Still doesn't change the content/quality of his courses. You either get your money's worth, or you don't. From what I've heard, you get it.
Not contradicting this at all.............just stating i would rather take stick to Pat Goodale and Pat Rogers classes because i have that option (which thankfully i have a inside track on).... these guys are proven and you wont see any rumors about either one of them "running" in the face of danger....
If Yeager was closer to me and i didnt have access to these two cats I would consider it --- however I know these two guys personally, and they are the real deal. Hell google Rogers he is a hoot.... but dont let his lighter side fool you ..... he is a bad ass..

OC doesn't shock me one bit. More often than not I prefer to see carrying out on the open. Just seems natural to me.
No issues here with OC but my theory is if the bad guy sees me open carrying .... im probabaly the first to get wasted.

Actually... a damn good video. Intelligently presented and very well articulated. It'd be great to see future videos delivered with the same style and less of what his detractors have called "Roid Yeager". Too often he plays right into the hands of the wrong people with his over the top delivery and weird twitchy behavior.
I honestly can't believe I'm saying this, but I have no problems with that video whatsoever and agree with everything he said and how he said it. He even seems to have stopped shopping at The Buckle and is sporting a Spike's Tactical shirt this time. :)
Outside of the guy being a straight up DICK I have seen no proof that he did anything wrong that would allow the state to take his HCP away. I once said something on facebook about Obama that had Guns and Obama in the same sentence, no threats made of course but........ The next day i got a report that someone had accessed my facebook account from California and they wanted to confirm it was me. It was not me......so i changed my passwords and am much more careful about what i post online.
Yeager is a general ass hole and is a hot head.... outside of some of the things i have read about him and events that took place overseas he seems to have a decent grasp on what he is talking about but i disagree on his assesment of the 1911(which pisses me off). I would not hire him for a training class...i will continue to driver to West VA for classes taught by Pat Rogers and Pat Goodale....these guys are what Yeager wants to be....true American Badasses

Ok my wife teaches 5th grade.......when she is taking up notes from kids talking about the sexual orgy one of the students mom had with another students father...and others something is broken. They had a pregnant 5th grader a few years back, and you wouldnt believe what the parents say about kids....

Kids are now talking abour sex and doing drugs in the 4th grade when i was still playing with my black bb gun at school i might add.....
If you are not an educator or do not know one you wouldnt believe how their hands are tied these days........

As we all know helicopter Ben decided to start printing 85 billion dollars a month to “stimulate†the economy. It seems to me that all that money is not only shrinking the purchasing power of our dollar but inflating the stock market. In our currently still weak economy that only produced 88 million jobs last month, we have a stock market that is just about to hit 15,000. Does this make any sense?
It seems to me this is a bubble that will someday soon will pop and I am not alone.

I have a respectful and high heat rated safe (800lbs) that I paid very high for 12+ years ago. I had to drill a accessory hole for an extension chord for my light, and I was amazed how easily and quick I penetrated the rear of the safe with the drill bit. So if a drill bit penetrated it quickly, then a sawall will be easy as well, just first drill the hole, and then use the sawall. Like opening a can.
most safes are only good for buying time.....even for the novice criminal.

Just curious if there were any other SouthLAnd fans here? It started out on NBC, got canceled after 1 season because it was deemed "too dark" for NBC, then TNT picked it up. It's now in it's 3rd Season and it's probably the best show I've ever watched. Character's are realistic and it really gets at the gritty side of what being a cop in a metro area is about. It honestly is more like "COPS" than The Shield or anything similar.
If you don't watch it see if you can find the first 2 seasons on-line. I highly recommend it.Not as good as "The Wire" but def one of the best cop shows ever..............well then theres Magnum PI

Yea I drive 25 miles or so a day just to work -- I wouldnt want one due to the safety and the kingsport crowd going to Eastman to work drive like maniacs -- wrecks every day. Im also 6'6" so not sure how that would work -- but still pretty cool -- if you can plug into any outlet to use.....

The waiting period for a gun is just stupid. Female has a stalker following her on Monday. She goes to the gun store Monday to purchase a gun. Come back wed to get your gun. She's dead on tuesday.

You guys are right. Screw the rules, who has the right to make rules about business,school , FCC or anything for that matter. Total anarchy is the way to go. Mad max type anarchy. Everyone is fine with the rules as long as tey agree with them. You send your kid to school looking like a rooster and he gets sent home it's time to whine about it. Blaaa blaaa.
No one needs rules or laws unless everyone agrees with them. Good luck with that. It's asinine that you send your kid to school and he breaks a rule and they send him home. What the hell are these people thinking making a dress code to follow. I give them kudos for enforcing it.
I don't agree with a lot of rules I have at work. They are stupid and flat out make no sense ....... But I follow them.
It's a stupid rule yes I agree but it's a rule, a condition of attending. If you don't like it go somewhere else.
There are many people that are saying the same thing about you owning firearms that some of you are saying about this schools rule, should we take their word for it and turn them in because they don't agree ? Opinions are like..... Well you know.-

We recently introduced a new puppy into our home. While she is cute and new, did it stop my two kids from going to bed on time the first night? Absolutely not. When I said "bed.", they got up and brushed their teeth and went to bed. No disruption to our normal daily schedule.
Why did they follow the rules? Let me guess because there are certain consequences if they dont......
