  1. I recently picked up one of the American Precision Firearms imported Arsenal Strike One Mark IIs to dome some comparisons between a handful of other pistols I have. The Mark II has the threaded barrel, I went with this one because I wanted to see how it shot against my threaded Alien since they both claim lowest bore axis (the alien wins this by a long shot). Back to APF, I received my pistol with a left hand threaded metric barrel despite being listed as having a 1/2x28. I have contacted their customer service and only received a notice that they had received my service request. I attempted to post a review with my displeasure in the false listing only to have my review responded to by their customer service who told me I didn’t have one of their imports. Oddly enough my pistols serial number starts with APF and has APF engraved on the side of the slide. It’s been an additional 5 days with no reply from them about my correction of having one of their imports.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with this company? Also, if you’re thinking of getting one of the Mark IIs be cautious the barrel may be metric.

For those who may ask that I’ll be comparing, I have a Laugo Alien, CZ Czechmate, CZ TSO, Arsenal Strike One MKII, Springfield Prodigy and a Shadow Systems XR920 Elite to compare. I may throw in an Sig P210 just because I like shooting it. I’m going to be putting together a full spec comparison, then I’m curious to see how recoil is managed between the weight of the pistols, compensators and what not.

  2. I’m looking for a complete rear sight for a Smith and Wesson N Frame with a square front (old model). I’m looking to bring my Model 29 back to original and pull the scope, so if anyone has a rear sight for one let me know what you’re looking to get out of it.

  3. Adding more to the list, more to come. Just don’t have room in my safe and I lost the battle of getting another. Available in the Clarksville area. More pictures available on request.

    1. Remington model 11 in 12 gauge. 22” barrel 2 3/4” shells with Lyman Cutts compensator with 705 full choke, date code on the barrel puts it at 1945. Both the forearm and stock have had cracks repaired. Missing some locking screws, replacements in the mail. $350 firm.

    2. Steven’s 77F in 16 gauge. 28” barrel 2 3/4” shells. Buttstock has minor surface damage, no visible cracks. These wer made between 1955-1971. $125 firm.

    3. Mossberg 500A in 12 gauge. 28” barrel 2 3/4 & 3” shell. Modified accu-choke. Minor surface rust and a small ding in the buttstock. $300 firm.

    4. Iver Johnson Champion in 20 gauge. 27 3/8” barrel, bore choke. Small crack in the forearm. $150 firm.

    5. Remington Sportsman 58 in 12 gauge. 20” slug barrel. Has a polymer Remington buttstock with a painted wood forearm. $200 firm.

    6. Mosin Nagant Sestroryetsk Finnish M91 in 7.62x54R. Matching numbers. CAI import, minor surface rust on barrel. PENDING

  4. I’ve been told I can’t get a few safe since my gun room is now also a crafting room so I need to make room and get rid of duplicates. I’d like to stick around Clarksville for these but will travel as far a Nashville on the right deal. Here’s a list of Mausers for now, others will follow. More pictures on request.

    1. Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori 1902 Mauser, imported by CAI in 6.5x55 Swede. All numbers match but the bolt shroud. The bolt handle has been bent, cleaning rod is missing and there’s a crack in the buttstock. It has also been tapped for a scope mount at some point. $400 firm.

    2. K. Kale 1942 Turkish Mauser M1938, imported by CAI in 8mm. Bolt is mismatched and cleaning rod is bent. $400 firm.

    3. Deutsche Waffe Model 1908 Mauser, no noticeable import marks in 6.5x55 Swede. Bolt is mismatched by 1 number. $600 firm.

    4. Yugo M24/47 Enterprise 44 Mauser, imported by PW Arms in 8mm. Mismatched numbers. $450 firm.

    5. Yugo M24/47 Work 44 Mauser, imported by CAI in 8mm. Numbers matching. $500 firm.

    6. Yugo M24/47 Enterprise 44 Mauser, imported by PW Arms in 8mm. Mismatched numbers. $450 firm.

    7. Yugo M24/47 Enterprise 44 Mauser, imported by Samco in 8mm. Numbers matching with sling. SOLD

    8. FN Columbia contract Mauser, no noticeable import markings in 30-06. Needs new bottom metal, sporterized stock, missing buttplate, Lyman precision rear sight. $350 firm.

    If only it was threaded!

I threaded my Henry 22, it seemed like a fun idea but having to take off the suppressor to reload it gets annoying after a while.

  6. Weekend bump, will be including a box of 38-56wcf for the 1886 (not cheap stuff, it was $135 shipped for 20 rounds). I’ll include 100 rounds of Aguila .30 Carbine for the M1. No ammo for the 1873 but Winchester still makes 44-40wcf (USA4440CB) for the rifle.

    nice hardwood

Thanks, it’s rough in a lot of places. The previous owner loved his potted plants, even had an indoor corn stalk growing when we viewed the house prior to purchase. It’s on my list of stuff to replace once I’m done with my surgeries.

  8. 1. This is a Winchester 1873 Third Model built in 1893 (dated by serial number on Winchestercollector . Org). This has a 24 inch octagon barrel and is chambered in 44-40 WCF. This could use a good cleaning but has a beautiful plum patina to it. It has one new Winchester screw in the lower tang to secure the stock better, it is missing the dust cover and has a small crack in the buttstock. Everything is original to the rifle aside from the one screw. Plenty more pictures available upon request.

$2000 OBO. May consider firearm trades of equal value.

    More pictures upon request.

    What's missing, just assembly?

Trigger, barrel bushing for the 30 Car, couple of springs and detents, grip screws and mag release. Selling as a spare parts gun but could be reassembled if you sourced the missing parts. My wife is wanting to turn my gun room into an art room for my daughters so my space is getting limited.
