Yes, however I am in Franklin County, TN. Particulars would be helpful.

    SWC

Just across the state line in Bowling Green Ky.

Bowling Green Metal Forming is the actual name of the plant. We build automotive structures which are frames , engine cradles , class 3 hitches , inner body panels , sub frames front and rear for several OEM makes.

Same here on the drug tests , not enough qualified people would be more accurate than my previous statement.

I do not think Grossman has been keeping up what the gov't and some LE are getting away with.

  3. I just put the flat trigger kit in a 2.0 but not for the same reason as most.  I was fine with the stock trigger pull/break but being just a little above average in size ( OK , more than a little )  I wanted the trigger reach to be longer. So I run the flat triggers to get more distance to the trigger from the grip.

I used what the kit calls the "duty, carry springs" and the pull measures 4.5 pounds with a good break.

you know Yeager has a rep for having people downrange, throwing firearms to demonstrate how safe they are, etc.  Did you experience anything during the class that would generally be considered taboo, unsafe, or made you think twice?  Inquiring minds need to know.

The downrange thing is blown out of proportion to what actually happens or at least to what was done when I took the class.. One of the instructors took pictures from between targets stands but it was after they had watched us shoot , he picked people that were not missing and was never in the direct line of fire.

No firearms were thrown...they had the shooters hold their pistol out in front of them and drop them. Then recover them and fire a drill. Not a big deal at all.

  6. I have 357 barrels for my .40 pistols.   I like the round myself , accurate and flat shooting.  I am not all that recoil sensitive compared to many but do not think it is bad to shoot.

  7. The safety also being the de-cocker is a no go for me. Not that I would buy a small pistol anyway.

I do like a hammer better than a striker but have and use both. Hammers just hit harder and have had some rounds not fire in striker pistols.

  8. Americas Best Value Inn

Reserved a room here for the Fight at Night class through hotels.com and paid for the room with a debit card on the website.  When I checked in the fellow asked for a credit card for " incidentals " which I found strange considering the hotel.  So....I have been waiting for my statement....and someone in Tenn  racked up some charges on it 2 weeks after the class.

The hotel may have nothing to do with it but I just carry it as a back up for emergency and do not use it very often. It was the only place in Tenn. I have shown it.

So....if your training in Dayton maybe take a look for another hotel.
