One review I read said.it does NOT take gen 5 magazines. The baseplate hits the extended grip. Can you verify?
Correct. It's take the rest of the G17 mags for the other gens as well as the happy sticks.

I didn't like how he tried to deflect it on user error. If you're going to own it, fully own it.

Sig has halted production on these.
Update from Phil Strader:
“Again, thanks for everyone’s input and feedback with regards to the P365. There have been isolated incidents of the pistol’s failure to return to battery. Although this can possibly be traced back to a grip issue (whether unlocked wrists or high thumbs), we do not want even rare instances of issues to make our customers lose confidence in the P365. Therefore, we are tweaking the gun to improve RTB conditions. This will help to allow every 365 user to experience what so many have already expressed online in very positive reviews. We are making these adjustments now and will resume shipping very shortly. Thanks again for everyone’s patience.” -
Figured it out.

You think $1000 is below market value? From the rumored condition of most of them I was thinking $500-600 for them. If they are in great shape $1000, maybe.

I've owned two Boberg's. I currently still own one. The pistol is a sweet shooter, soft recoiling for its size, very well made, and extremely accurate. I was shocked to go 7/8 on an 8 inch plate at 50 yards with the pistol. That said they do have their quirks. And I seriously doubt Bonds fixed those when they took the pistol over inspite of what they may claim.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. A sweet 16 is pretty specific so you have to find the right buyer.

I haven't been in a long time. Can you still sell a gun at these pretty easy just walking around? My father-in-law has a Sweet Sixteen he needs to sell.

It's the only hunting I do now. My dad and I hunt with a black mouth curr. Take tricked out 10/22's and shoot wolf match ammo. A lot of ribbing if you miss so we make sure it's our fault and not the gun or ammo. Hunting with a dog is just a walk in the woods with your buddies. Only way to hunt tree rats. We normally go from late December to the end of Febuary. You don't want any leaves on the trees hunting with dogs.

Puff, puff...pass.

Since you own a 42 already, just makes sense to have a 43 as opposed to a shield.

This, every time I see another pic it grows on me.
That said, I'm going to wait and let this play out. But I'm still intrigued.

At first glance it looks pretty bizarre. The more I'm staring at it the more intrigued I am though. Can't decide if I like the dust cover area or not.
Agree 100%. It's slowly growing on me.

Not sure if you guys have seen this, but I'm at least intrigued. Would love to shoot it.

I had a complete rifle. It still had some issues and I sent it back to PWS and they honed the chamber. It ran a little better, but the accuracy was never what I would tolerate. Especially with a Kidd and Fedderson 10/22's that shot groups twice as small. It was still a really cool weapon, and I probably should have tried some different barrels with it, just with headspacing concern I decided to cut my losses.
-
I had one and never could get mine to run and feed and smooth as I would have liked. That and and when I would take it hunting sometimes I would forget to work the bolt because I was so used to using my 10/22's. Like a lot that I have sold, in seeing one like this I still regret selling it.

I've owned both and would go Ruger. They both shot lights out but the mag alone is the selling point. If you hunt at all the savage mag will jab you in the side while on a sling. Plus once you get some mags it will give you a good excuse to get a 10/22. A requirement of any gun collection.

My vote is 6.5. I have some new e-lander mags direct from Alexander arms and they run flawless. At $20 they are little more expensive but how many 25 round mags does your woods gun need?
Also, I've shot steel at 100 with a 6.5, 300 blk, 556, 7.62x39 and a 458. Clearly the 458 is on another level on the steel, but the 6.5 hits much harder than the others and I'm using a 16 inch barrel too. 7.62x39 comes in third for what's it worth.

It's a mid-length. I bought mine direct from Alexander Arms for $195. I trust them since Bill Alexander helped design the round. It's double fluted and very light. While it's a plinker for me with steel ammo, because of its light weight I will probably hunt with it some this fall.

I recently built a 16 inch Grendel using the Alexander arms lightweight barrel and I'm in love with that little rifle. Very lightweight set up and the round hits hard on steel at 100. the 223's just tap the steel where the Grendel smacks the .... out of it. I built this one to shoot the wolf steel cased ammo. That ammo is under .30 cents around and I'm getting 1.5 groups with that ammo at 100. About a inch or so with factory hornady ammo. Very pleased for a rifle built to be a plinker. I haven't had a chance to stretch its legs yet, but will try to remember to let you know if I do. Check out the 65grendel forum. Ton of good info there. feel free to PM me with any questions, I will help answer any questions I can.

The glock 42 issue was an initial design fail, not a MFG fail.
