  1. I keep seeing more and more weapons listed as having "Faux Suppressors." Forgive me if this is a stupid question but do they DO anything? Why would anyone want one, other than (a feebile attempt) to look cool? Do they serve ANY purpose? Added size and ostensibly added weight.

Duh bro! It's for when they post a pic of their cool gun on Facebook people that don't know any better will drool over their "silencer".

  2. Personally, I think they should head west to the Mississippi river. You could live your entire life on the water. Since everything is free if you're man enough to take it, you could get a few river barges from Ingram and get a running front end loader to fill the coal haulers with good top soil. Then you got a floating garden with an easy to access water supply. No drought problems!
anchor down in deeper waters and fish and farm. Runners like Daryl could travel and bring back anything from barges to yachts if they had usable fuel.

I have had this thought myself. That is what I would do.

  3. A girlfriend from years ago had a P22 that we shot the piss out of and I don't remember any failures at all. It had to have been one of the first ones. It had the longer "target" barrel on it. I recall it eating every kind of ammo we ran through it. I kinda miss that gun but her not so much...

I'd have to say the biggest POS gun I've owned would be a Phoenix Arms .22 pistol. I bought it several years ago for about $120 new. I knew it would be junk and boy was I right. I remember it running ok with Federal bulk pack (back when it was $10 a box). Within a month this thing flew apart on me. On one shot when the slide cycled back to lay the hammer down the firing pin, a spring or two and some other innards came flying out of the back of the slide. I was in the woods and didn't even bother to look for the parts.

  4. I cup my hand over the slide and tip the gun so that it pops into my hand.- never had a problem or concern.

Same here. I do it so often that I had to stop and think for a min while reading the OP. Never had any problems.
  5. Seeing if anyone else used Instagram. I don't get into many of the other apps but I do like it for searching tags especially for gun porn. I've recently been using the tag #tngunowners. Hoping maybe that could be a "thing" for some of us on there. And for those of you not on it give it a try. I've had it for a few years. Just search any tags you're looking for. Like if you want to search for Glock 19's search "#glock19" and so on. Lots of good pics.

  6. I have seen it a couple of times. It was an ok movie. I'll watch it again probably. After listening to a Nick Cannon interview on Stern a few weeks ago I rented his new movie "Chiraq". It sounded like a good premise but about 10 minutes in a figured out it was some kind of talking musical or some $***. Worst movie ever.
  7. 75 rounds, in a sealed box? Maybe 40mm instead of 40 cal.

Now that's a little different but I still don't see any need for a bomb squad.
And they did say they disposed of shotguns shells there before. I'd say probably just rifle rounds.
  8. I'm glad I saw this post. I started to post a small review of a holster I've been wearing with my 43 for a few weeks now. It's a DeSantis Invader IWB. I've have owned MANY quality holsters but this one by far is the most comfortable holster I have ever worn. (I carry at 4:00) It has a "gel" backing that I would compare to a mouse pad. It is built well and the belt clips keep it secure on the draw. I cannot say enough good things about this holster. I actually ordered another for my G19 yesterday. I wish I had known of this holster months ago. I haven't been this excited about a product in a while but I have to give it 2 thumbs up. I ordered it on Amazon for around 45 dollars. And of course I have a good ol' Serpa OWB for carry around the house and woods. 5baa80db517b4445682879a72a41ec44.jpg6f1dfbe153ee47b05c437184aeb13af4.jpg9744c8de6ea9905773ff46d3de32e384.jpg2756f87ec40d4c4e474715ad428e3751.jpg
