Good luck to you! I had transfered my IN permit to a TN permit back in March and then finally just approved it!!! I guess there was some goof up on my paper work but everything is good now and I should see it now later than next Thursday! Hope yours goes by faster and without a hitch!

I submitted mine on the 12th of this month got fingerprinted on the 24th and called today and she said they approved it on the 27th. I's so excited. She said it would be 7 to 14 days in the mail but I would say I should have it around the first of next week.

Not really in a big hurry, it'll be here when it gets here. I still have to go get my gun next week sometime, and get some practice in with it and get comfortable with it.

That's the most fun part of all!

I've probably got around 300 rounds through my carry gun so far. I'm planning on getting 1000 rounds from USA Ammo in a couple weeks & really having some fun with it. :)

Usually just over 3 weeks is the norm. In addition to getting your gun, that gives you time to shop for good belts and holsters for it. Those things don't carry themselves, you know. :)

predictably it was denied because of some stuff from last year that was supposed to be expunged from my record. Why it's not been expunged is beyond me, but I submitted the paperwork with my HCP application and it's still denied? That doesn't make any sense at all. Got a letter today saying I need to submit proof of the expungements. Ok I did that to begin with. Gonna have to call these idiots tomorrow...maybe I can sell them a batch of ID10T wire while I'm at it. No big deal though, won't take much to get them what they need to make this happen.

when i did mine in march they had scanner problems & my class certificate didnt get sent from the strawplains DOT site where i did it at,instead of them contacting them & saying they didnt recieve it they sent me a letter 3-4 weeks latter telling me i had 30 days to send them a copy of it :D .was going to have to take class again & pay the $215 for thier mistake, took 2 weeks after i took my copy down there & watched them scan/send it.the lady at the nashville office where u call knew there was a scanner issue from knoxville the first time i called .good luck

and the wait is over! Walked out to the mailbox this morning and there it was waiting for me! I was only expecting my Netflix DVD, and got a nice surprise. ;)

Now the wait for my finances to allow me to go purchase my new handgun.

Congratulations, Wyatt! Now you are ready to be someone's huckleberry.

to be honest, that's a day I pray that never comes. but lol at the hidden innuendo of your comment. Tombstone was a good movie for it's time. I'd love to see Christopher Nolan (the creator of the new Batman movies) do a new version of Tombstone, I bet it would rock.

Having a handgun is better than having a handful of keys, but I do agree with you. As for the movie, I am leery of remakes, but that might be a good one to see.
