Planning on going my first machine gun shoot at Knob Creek this weekend. Does anyone know if you allowed to "carry" while attending the event. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have never been there before and want to be informed before I go. Thanks

Not sure if it would be weak springs. The magazines are very stiff to load. They hold 12 rounds but after the 10th it is very difficult to compress the spring to get the remaining 2 rounds in...I tried loading the magazines with different round counts in them to see if that would make any difference. Didn't seem to make any. Thanks everyone for your input it's much appreciated..

I have 3 of them and they all say Springfield Armory on the bottom. Two of them have a logo with Springfield Armory produkt Karlovac (yes thats how it's spelled) Croatia. all three mags FTF could not narrow it down to a specific one.

Picked up a used XD 40 about week ago and stopped by On Target yesterday to put some rounds through it. The darn thing FTF clip after clip. It would fire once and jam. fire, jam...The ammo was bulk UMC from Bass Pro. Any advice other than don't use this ammo anymore. Could this be something serious that I should take in and have it looked at? Thanks

I've been watching this thread and have come to my own conclusion. Guns are allot like Cars. You got your Chevy guys vs. Ford, Vs, Mopar vs the rice burners and everything else in between. It's called brad loyalty You find what you like what works for you and to heck with everything else. It's the same in the 4 wheel community.
