I have been working on this for a few days now. It is an Alaskan style Ulu with oak scales and brass pins. This will be traveling to Washington to a friend who will use it to scrape deer and bear hides .

I'm sure I could use them for somethingJudging by the number of deer I'm seeing on one property we should be able to get you loaded up with feet. I'll also make at least 1 but possibly 2 trips to FL after season is over here so there will be more available then as well. Any use for wild hog hooves? I'd say it's quite likely that we'll end up with a few of those this year as well but will be January before that happens probably.

I have two that I have bent and dried for a gun rack. I hope they turn out well.I use to make gun racks out of the feet back when I was young and hunted a lot. My brother was still doing it right up until he passed away a few years back. My son and grandsons and several of our friends kept him in deer hoofs plus he would visit several small processors in the area. He would make about 80 to 100 gun racks a year and would custom build some for folks. He did also make a few knives back many years ago but that got to be to much work getting the good steel so he quit making them..................

thanks. Just pm me when u have them and I'll meet you.I live just outside of portland in bethpage. I usually get 4 or 5 deer a year. You can have all the feet.

that would be cool. However you cut the is fine 8-10 inches is perfectI do all my own processing and I will start hunting Nov 12. Would you want the feet froze in a zip lock bag ? I use the meat all the way down to where the legs kinda turns into lots of tendons which ranges around 8-12 inches from the hoofs. I cut cut it a little higher if you want. My wife and me like to go into the Nashville and Springfield area around 2 times a month to shop. I can freeze the feet and when I go through there I can bring them to meet you somewhere in the Springfield and Nashville area. Just post a picture of how your project turns out later

we are close enough that this should work! I'll take whatever you can give me.How much leg do you want with them? Front, back, all? Does size matter?
I won't hunt until muzzleloader season, which begins the 8th of November. Surely, between the boys and myself, we can help accommodate you.
The last ones I got were cut right under the scent gland thing.

or frozen and I can meet you somewhere.I process my own, but don't know how I would get the feet to you. Frozen and shipped?

If so, and if you don't use the feet, I could use some deer feet. I am working on a project and could really use some fresh deer feet.

It is not you; it is the non-customer service stores you frequent.
Try a nice local gunshop with quality service and you will never go to one of them bs stores again.

I ate a roast a few weeks ago that was from 2007. I'm still here to tell about it. It was good and not degraded in any way I could tell.

When I had a heavy bag I didn't wear gloves. I also walked barefoot in the snow uphill five miles to school :)
