I liked the Taurus because it had the second chance trigger, it was light, small, fit my large hands, and was priced decent. As far as taking a step back, I don't think so, it's like Rustlers and Levi's the only thing different is the name. I have handled several different Taurus's. As a matter of fact before I was old enough to own a handgun, my uncle used to lend me a pt92 to take to the cabin and shoot. I am not a "brand whore" I just want good quality for my dollar.

I currently carry a S&W 4516 and just want something lighter. The Ruger is about the same size, but I am leaning towards the Taurus as is is smaller lighter and has that new trigger system that will allow you to pull again if you get a dud.

I was fondling 2 guns today at Mahoneys that I liked. 1 was a Ruger P345 HERE the other was a Taurus Mil Pro 745 HERE Now when work picks back up I will probably get the Taurus.

Well I didn't go in yelling and cussing. I didnt start to get abrupt until she started acting like she didn't give a crap and getting an attitude of "I'm right your wrong deal with it". Filled up last night @3.59 put 93 bucks in the tank. I work a quad shift so I only work 3 or 4 days a week so that helps save on gas a little.

Ok for instance the 4516 I carry, used to belong to my Grandfather. I get pulled over and they run the SN through whatever database they use. Doesnt that database get its info from the 4473 (i think) that you filled out when you first bought the gun. In this case my grandfathers name would pop up and not mine. I imagine they might be abe able to give you a hard time. Or am I totally wrong?

It was HOT, My Don Hume IWB doesn't have a side shield so I kept my T-shirt tucked in. I am a large guy so my gun depresses into my gut and that helps keep it out of view, but the draw back is without a shirt under it, the the safety tends to scratch the hell out of me. BULLSEYE

The power company credited 86 to my power bill as well as the bank reversed the fees so I ended up with an extra 86 that I had not already budgeted.

It wasn't ego and I didn't threaten anyone, and I didn't go in there with the intention of cussing. During the whole conversation the woman's attitude was "We didn't do it the payment processing did it so we cant do nothing about it." she was monotone and acted like she could really care less. On top of that she refused to get her supervisor. So unfortunately my "Yankee" came out (I am originally from Baltimore) and I got a little loud but I don't think threatening. Oh and someone mentioned posted...nowhere I went yesterday was properly posted, hence legal.

I had a boatload of running around to do today, my favorite cover shirt was in need of a washing machine. So I said the hell with it and open carried which is something I am usually against but just wasn't in the mood to give a crap today. Guess what happened... Absolutely nothing. My wife called one day last week to check the balance of our power bill and hung up when it said would like to make a payment. Well low and behold they processed it anyway. I called Bristol Power this morning and they pretty much told me tough luck pal. So we went to Eastman Credit Union in Blountville walked right past the stupid gun in the circle sign made a deposit and had a meeting with a lady to get the funds reversed as an unauthorized charge. I am pretty sure someone in the bank saw it and no one seemed to care. Next stop Bristol power with bank statements in hand and 4516 IWB to get all the NSF charges credited to my bill. Waited for an hour and a half to get to see customer service. Got into pretty heated talks with a rep who had to repeatedly keep running back to a supervisor or someone who was more intelligent than herself. After a lot of bickering I am pretty sure I might have uttered the words "YOU WILL CREDIT THESE F!@#$ CHARGES". At which time the supervisor finally got off his fat arse and we went through it again. After explaining what happenned for the 50th time and I dont give a crap if they use a third party, that they are responsible for that third party. He finally credited the 86 bucks in overdraft fees to my next bill. Once again I didn't even get as much as a look for my gun. Feeling better we crossed over into VA Exit 7 and went to Sams and sat there and had a slice of pizza and a hotdog for lunch, walking around afterwards. Once again non event. Went out again a little later to get some groceries at the Bristol TN Wal-Mart walked around perusing for about an hour got our groceries and left. A couple people took a second look but realy could care less. I still wouldnt open carry every day as you become the target but I am a little more comfy with it in public and I Have carried daily for about 5 years now. Oh and to sweeten the deal when we checked the account tonight, the bank also reversed the overdraft fees. so now I can go buy 86 bucks wort of ammo!!!

Nope none Walk in fill out the fed paperwork pay an extra 10 bucks for the TICS check once it comes back go shoot.

I know not much in Legaleze but if you went to the Judge and made him aware of what they are doing, couldn't he issue a court order to return the gun. Lets see the PD defy that.

I am looking at the L-N-L AP to set right next to my trusty Lyman T-Mag. I started looking about a month ago and the best I can figure is the L-N-L here's my reasons 1 L-N-L bushings to make easy swap outs with little adjustments, whereas the Dillon you need a whole other "tool head" or you will have to readjust the dies everytime. You will need shellplates for each 2 simpler powder delivery system. L-N-L uses a regular throw type measure, whereas the Dillon uses some kind of chargebar contraption. 3 auto indexing at the cost of the non auto 550b. 4 optional case feeder is cheap compared to the $200 Dillon case feeder I'm sure there is more but that is what leaned me. Now all I have to do is save some $$ to buy one.

Out shopping today with my wife I felt the nearly uncontrollable urge to...well... lets say "make a deposit". I hate doing this in public when I am carrying. I did however learn that a handgun and iwb holster will wedge between the handicap rail and the wall. This avoids slipping off the TP holder or setting it between your feet.
