Just got my permit yesterday and I've been practicing for weeks at home and setting the correct mindset. Now that I'm legal I'm sorta reluctant to do it. I feel my training is not enough. My 10 year old kid wants to go to the mall and barnes & noble I'll let you know if I actually do it today. EDIT: Did not do it today. Mall had the "no gun sign" I had it my car glove box though, safety on with 17 + 1 in the chamber. I did got a kick when the cashier at the borders bookstore ask for identification at checkout, showed her my CCW permit she went "oh" did not even bother to look at my name just rang me quick:)
