  1. I apologize is this is covered somewhere else but I have limited access with the internet so I wanted to ask this here. I have been going to ky alot lately. What should I know about carrying into ky? How do the laws differ from tn laws regarding hip holders?
  2. G&L in Greenbrier charges $160 I believe.
  3. I think we should wait as previously stated for a month or 2 so we have some help organizing. However, I believe working along side a 60+mph highway may not be the best way to educate folks. I believe we shoud do it "in town" or close anyways.
  4. Well we need to organize more because obviously it was not enough.
  5. Go right ahead Dan. Need all the help I gan get to try and organize this.
  6. I would like to organize a litter/trash pickup in or around nashville to educate people about the HCP, open carry, concealed carry. It comes up alot these days about some citizen calling the cops because they see someone who is "Law abiding" carrying a gun who actually has a HCP. I am getting tired of this. I like to open carry but 80% of the time I don't because I am afraid some idiot will mistake me for some type of criminal and call the cops on me. This is why I want to organize this, to educate those people who do not know or do not understand. Something similar to this: OR And we should try to do it regularly like once a month or something.
  7. Perhaps I should start a new thread about this and perhaps get other members help in organizing such a thing.
  8. I'm just saying that maybe we should try to educate people more so this type of thing doesn't continue to happen. And yes the Goodlettsville/Rivergate area is a popular area as well as Hendersonville or Gallatin which is why I say they are major cities. I AM a member of the NRA and have been for some time.
  9. Okay this has gone far enough. I think we should try an idea I saw on youtube.... We should organize an open carry trash pick up to educate people about the HCP and the law abiding citizens who carry them.... I'm serious let's organize..... Major cities like Nashville, Boro, Goodlettsville, Memphis, etc....
  10. So I'm bored at work and need a good zombie movie to watch on netflix. Anyone suggest anything?
  11. Now I want an xd40 I found. Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
  12. I love it. Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
  13. So I got this on a whim and not looking back. I like it better than the glock 19, 17, and 22. I like it better than the sig 226. It is the xd9 with 16 rd mags. Shoots great, low recoil and good balance. The trigger pull is a little longer than I like but I got used to it fairly quickly. The Springfield holster is crap and has already scratched the slide a bit but its ok since this is my edc. Mag springs are a little stiff but that's to be expected from a brand new mag. After 100 rounds I am confident with it 100%. Bought a tagua owb thumb break for it after the other scratched it and I love the feel of it. Here's a quick cell phone pic, will add a few more later so keep checking.
  14. What is going on with all the Glocks going up for sale? I see 7 for sale right now in the FS section.... Is this not just a little odd?
  15. I live north of Nashville, in Greenbrier and work in Springfield. Anyone in this area?
  16. Anyone? Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
  17. I am looking for a place to hunt in or around robertson county this upcoming season. If anyone knows of anywhere like that let me know I am willing to drive no more than 1 hour. Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
  18. I'm sorry OP but you're wrong and the cyclops is not a dead giveaway, neither is the movement.... I've had my fair share of "Replica" or "knockoff" Rolex's and a few were "franken" meaning they were built with either all genuine parts or partial. There are also some true "fakes" that have everything correct... from the look to the second hand sweep, even the serial numbers.... But now there are even movements that look IDENTICAL! At one point I had a Rolex Deep Sea Dweller replica that was so good, a pawn shop offered me $6,000. I simply refused and explained it wasn't real all while they insisted it was. I took it in to show them so they'd know these highend fakes are now being mass produced! Tell tell signs(most of time): Date magnification, font, rehaut engraving(around bezel inside),smoothness of sweep, weight.... The #1 tell tell sign though.... the color of the metal used. A genuine Rolex uses a high grade Stainless steel which is MUCH brighter than the cheap 316 SS used my most replica factories. The only way to truly know is to have it looked at by an authorized dealer/service center and let them check the serial #'s with the factory.
  19. Got these today at D&T Arms. Just gorgeous! Makes the CD look 100x better in my opinion! Before: After:
  20. Already took it to the range and shot 300 rounds through.... Functions just as good, if not better than my old Springfield GI. No malfunctions whatsoever! Very accurate, low recoil... The only thing I may change is the Ambi safety..... The right side kind of pinches me a bit but other than that it's damn near perfect. I've done my research and have come to find out that an 18lb recoil spring and a wilson combat slide stop might be in order if I plan on shooting several thousand rounds through it...
