  1. Still hunt with my T/C Renegade .50. Bought it new in the late 70's and killed a lot of deer with it. Been through all the new fangle in-lines, and sold them all a couple years back forcing my hand to use only the T/C. Glad I made that decision because I'm having fun going back "old school" in black powder.

My go-to load is 90 grain GOEX FF behind a 385 grain Hornady Great Plains bullet. Get nothing but shoot throughs with that load and my, what an exit hole. 😄

BTW, my barrel is also a 1:48 twist. Works well for about any projectile, even round ball.

  2. Vintage 7x57 Mauser sporter - receiver reads: fab. nat. d'armes de guerre herstal-belgique

Came out of an estate of a friend of mine. His father had it built by a gunsmith in Arkansas sometimes in the 50s. It hasn't been fired in more than 40 years. Bore looks great, always stored in humidity controlled storage. Numbers match on receiver, bolt and barrel. Interesting looking muzzlebreak. Has a Redfield mount, not sure of brand of steel scope with A.O., but looks like an early Weaver. No other marking found on it. I have never shot it.

$750 for a classic deer rifle

  4. Hard cover issue, 1994 printing, no yellowing of pages, or tears, excellent condition. Classic book written by legendary lawman Bill Jordan, who passed in 1997. He was the one who influenced S&W to produce the Model 19 and 66. I saw Jordan at Bianchi Cup 1987. Didn't meet him as he was surrounded by his entourage, but cool I was standing 15' from fame.

Internet shows crazy prices of $100 plus for hard cover copies, I'll take $40 FTF SOLD

  5. Beautiful 541-T (23" heavy target barrel), shoots short, longs, and long rifle. Comes with Leupold rings and Weaver 4x16x44 scope with A.O. and three magazines.

Most accurate .22 I own. I thought I might get into bench competition but that never happened, and at 7.5 lbs, too heavy to squirrel hunt with. Thought there might be a paper puncher or two out there that would appreciate this old Remington, when the quality was still up.

    $850 for the package    SPF
