Thanks for info. I do not like Glocks solely on the reason of lack of safety's (let's be real the trigger safety is not a safety). I have 2 boys under the age of 3 so I like having that extra security w/ a safety.

Yes I realize the 19/23 difference. Me XD is a 40 but my next might be a 9 because of the # the 9s hold

Can I Carry and Conceal the XD Service or Glock 19/23

I know that is why I think I should have got the Glock 19/23 for home and the XD Subcompact for carry

Bought a XD 40 Service about 3 weeks ago. I love it and it shoots great...BUT....now I am wanting a Subcompact...I almost wish I would have gotten a Glock 19/23 for my house and the XD subcompact for my carry. I'm sure if I tried to trade 3 weeks later I would get ripped. Oh well..live and learn

Well I pulled the trigger today (Pun intended)! Bought a Springfield XD40 Compact. I decided to go 40 over 9 and compact over Subcompact for better shooting. Good purchase?

In doing my research I have found over and over that XD(M) & M&P out perform the Glock and Beretta! The thing that attracts me to the M&P is that it is made in America. I'm a sucker for that! Any thoughts on performance and ease of breaking down and cleaning?
