  1. Woke up this morning at 5am to use the bathroom. When I got up it took me a second to realize my heart was pounding. Also felt like spasms as well, with irregular beating. Tried to lay back down and relax since there was no chest pain or pressure. After a couple of hours laying in anxiety sleep found me again. Woke up an about 9am with the same problem. Decided to go to a minor med to check things before I went to the ER unnecessarily. My heart rate calmed down a little by the time I'd gotten in to the exam room. Doc listened to things and took BP. Heart rate was still elevated but BP was 140/104. Not sure what is the cause, but I am going to make an appointment with my primary Dr to get further tests.

Not really sure why I am typing this other than I am just nervous about things and felt maybe part of the cure is expression...
  2. By that logic most rifle rounds would be banned Just because there are a lot of "pistols" out there, not just AR variants.

Wouldn't it be easy to surmise based on the quoted comment that the end game for the ATF and anti 2A crowd would be to ban all rifle rounds? Or, make supply so low of non banned ammo that it is next to impossible to find or afford said ammo due to a skyrocketing purchase price??

I just hope all these comments being made about how any rifle round can penetrate body armor isn't used a la the sig brace to be used against us. HOPEFULLY the political pressure and fear of "civil disobedience" will keep the wolves at bay...
  3. Sweet setup. Man that looks nice. Which mount did you get and how do you like it? Can't wait for a range report on the Saker.

I have the Saker Trifecta muzzle brake on my SBR...I have Trifecta flash hiders on my 16in and 14.5in guns...solid lockup
  4. Very nice! I've got a Sig 716 Patrol in ODG myself. Thought about getting a 516, too.

I converted mine from pistol to SBR back in December...I bought the can at the end of October and got my call from the LGS on Saturday that my stamp came in....right at about 3 months...
  5. I see...my biggest concern was possibly burning myself during transitions to my pistol during training...is that not an issue to be worried about?? I don't plan on burning through a mag in one fell swoop, but didn't know how 2-4 shot groups in during a drill over the course of a few minutes would affect the temp. Forgive my ignorance on this, as I said this is my 1st suppressor and don't want to learn certain things the hard way...
  6. Got my call from the LGS yesterday, my tax stamp came in. Unfortunately they called me at 1530 and close at 1800. I was unable to make the drive to get there before closing time since I was out of pocket. I will pick it up tomorrow and probably have to wait until the weekend to shoot it. I was extremely suprised to get the call since I went pending at the end of October. Almost 3 months to the day.

Anyone else heard of wait times dropping this low? I was actually expecting to wait until closer to March or April...Almost makes me want to get another...
  7. I have been looking online at these, mainly the HAD at Rifles Only. My question as a future first time suppressor owner is are these really necessary from a handling standpoint? I plan on training with my suppressor and don't want to burn myself or touch anything that will melt due to heat. I guess I am just wanting to make sure these things are not just hype that are not needed or if they are truly a useful item for someone that would be performing firearm transitions....
