    I have a fixed-top AR-15A2 Carbine with an EOTech on top... I've never had the EOTech go out on me, but just in case, I can still use the iron sights if I need to. I wish I had a removable top AR-15, but the fixed top actually works pretty well for me, as it is very easy to use the EOTech without any cheek relief. I love the EOTech sight and highly recommend it.

    Welcome aboard, Chief. What branch are you in? I've been eying the XD-45 for quite a while, might have to pick one up soon.

    Welcome aboard! My father gave me an M1903 that he had fully restored, I'm sure it has seen its fair share of battles, and it is a very nice weapon. I also have an interest in war history so I may have to check out your book.
