I like how AIM makes it easy to submit one :-/
Thanks for heads up. Maybe I can nab one.
Also, how will I know when they've finally added it to my account?

Thanks for the heads up, ordered some for me and some family.

I thought I'd take a minute to put out a good word for a little known website I dealt with a couple weeks ago, Gunusual.com
It doesn't look like much and I was suspicious of it at first. It was hard to find any mention of it anywhere but I managed to find one good word about it and decided to give it a go.
I was looking for some 12 round mags for my SP2340. They seem to be going for about $50 new on Gunbroker and as low as $40 other places, but are out of stock. Gunusual was listing some as "used excellent condition" for $32 each. They offer free shipping on orders of $100 or more as well. I was ordering three but missing free shipping by a little over a dollar. I contacted them and they provided me with a one time use free shipping code.
The snow up north had slowed USPS down was the only hitch but I did finally get them. The mags truly are in excellent condition and work perfectly. They look brand new.
I'm not sure how their business works as inventory seems spotty/up and down. Might be worth a look for some to see what they have in stock.

Your packet should arrive in about a week.
Thanks!

So buy up billions of rounds of ammo, increase the number of ABC agencies who have access to weapons, then buy targets to desensitize agents in training.
Where are we heading here?
BINGO! My first thought as well.

I got mine yesterday. Just got home from work to check and see what mail I got.
I had read somewhere that I should expect a packet of information along with it. All I got was the license. Was whatever I read wrong, is it sent separately, or is this just how they do things now?
-
If only there were more businesses like this.
-
In the TGO store they're listed as subscriptions, and while I've not paid it much mind, I think they might auto-renew.

Maybe she learned to mind her own business for a change.

Been carrying a Spyderco Military for about... five years now. I got it sometime in 08. I've used it daily and it's done everything I've asked of it.

This would be great to be stickied.

Is this on the website or do you have to call Cabela's? I don't see anything on the website except some .22 WMR

Spank, maybe things have changed but Fall of 2009 I was treated like crap when I was in there. I was not in uniform but it's pretty obvious that I am military and/or law enforcement. Some people just know I am police from seeing me before. I was in the Clevend National Guard unit and when I told one of the local Cleveland boys about my experience he said they have asked people to leave when they asked for a military discount.
I really hate hearing that and I do hope things have changed for the better. I understand if a business can't offer a discount but they shouldn't send you out the door, especially a gun store. I would think they would make sure LE and military are taken care of. I hope someone else who is mil/LE can offer some more input on their experiences if they've been by lately.
"Has there ever been a smaller gun store than Fugates? Lol. God that sucker is tiny, can barely move around in there."
Yes, the original Frontier Firearms was CRAZY small.
Silvers when hes open is great to deal with, (also extremely small) but will give some killer deals. Gun Slingers are nice guys but they have ZERO inventory even before the craze.
I've heard about Silvers and Jonnin has mentioned his store a few times but I've just never made it by. It's just never knowing when he'll be open, closed, or the hours of operation that have prevented me from checking out what he has.
I just checked his website and saw he has an M&P22. I've been wanting to have a look at one... maybe I'll finally make myself stop by.

Another one I've gotten calls from is the Police Protective Fund and they don't seem to fair any better when looking them up online.
I'd love suggestions for groups that actually get something done and are worth donating too, especially for police, firemen, military.

Very cool. This can only get better over time.

I have actually bought some things at VOW before but I try not to go there at all. It is well known amongst law enforcement and the military that military and police are not welcome at VOW. At one time there was a little gun shop on spring place road about a mile from the bypass. I don't have a clue on the name.
One of the best shops in the area is Fugates about 20 miles north on hwy 11 in Calhoun. Fugates is closed on Wed and Sundays. How did this information get out about military and law enforcement not being welcome? I've seen on the website that they offer discounts on some services for law and military. I've also seen LE in the shop, actually just on my last range visit too.
These seem contradictory? I'd love more information on this.

I give up on trying to edit my post.
Address for Posey
2538 Keith St NW, Cleveland, TN
It's just a short drive past Krystals
Vow
2160 S Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN
I like dealing with vow. They're close by and nice folks.
Have only been by Posey's twice but they seem nice enough and had a nice selection last time I was by.
Giving up on trying to write more. Phone driving me nuts -
The two I've ever purchased anything from here in Cleveland is Posey gun and pawn and volunteer ordinance works. Posting from my phone or I'd throw up the addresses. Probably easy to find with Google though :-) I know VOW has a website.
I think gun slingers is the one down from the Y? I don't remember the street name. I'm sure someone can provide more information than me.- 1

This is one of the reasons I don't pay for cable anymore. I just use netflix and YouTube for entertainment. So many of these companies have ruined their channels with this reality tv crap. You can't turn on the history channel and start learning about something. The old TechTV got run into the ground as well, but that was many years ago.
Typically I listen to podcasts for my entertainment and information these days. Plus I can crank up the speed and cover a lot of content on science, history, tech. I do this when driving, working, or around the house. Typically anytime I can't dedicate to sitting around watching something.
Excuse any typos, sending from the phone. -
I'm going to be keeping a watch elsewhere. Hopefully SGAmmo will get some in at some point. I just couldn't choke down the outrageous shipping charges from J&G. I've never done business with them and it doesn't really look like I ever will.

First thought was HOLY SH**
LOL That is awesome dude. I see why no one can find ammo these days lol

Yeah, not the nicest folks ever.... but somehow I'm guessing as long as it took to get through... they must be dealing with A LOT of people, so I can understand.
*Also I've been able to add one to my account and buy it. I even saved a dollar by pimping them out on Twitter... lol.
Apparently mine got put in the system quick, I only faxed it two hours ago. Thanks Austin.
First use of my license, woohoo :woohoo:
