  1. Thanks, I shoot at Hoselton Ventures gun Range on Turkey Creek Church Road, Tullahoma, Tn. 931-455-5553.

The Shop and Range are open Wed. -Sun. Sorry, That sounded like an add..... LOL They are great friends and the only shop I have found with stools to sit on and you get invited to just sit and chat........................ Ted ; ^ )

I called them last month, handguns only no rifles did something change?

  2. Called them, handguns only..

From what I have read: OK corral in woodbury and Viola doesn't allow FA or 50's, I have a place to shoot (a friends farm) but I'm not going to bring my relatives out there to shoot.

  3. Not sure where to post this but since it's gun related and possibly event related here we go...

Anyone know about the range on cumberland springs rd in tullahoma? couple yrs back my son took a TWRA hunter safety class, this range is where he quaified for his shooting, it's not listed on the TWRA website so I'm thinking it's a private range.

From my google searchs Terry's in Manchester is the only local range with no range restrictions.

  4. I have both, LE6920 and a LE6940, I prefer the 6940 because I use a aimpoint with a maganifer, both using std QD larue mounts and BUIS, that's going to be a little diffuct on the 6920 with the above set up (edit: I just received a MI drop in rail today, so I might be full of chit), personally I don't like looking through optics and seeing to front sight of the 6920...

BTW: both guns are not being discontinued, there called SP6920/40, unless your a colt collector and you luv roll marks, they'll work exactly the same..

  5. Yes but the HK briefcase is a NFA item. As is any gun that is capable of firing from within a briefcase.

This AR isn't for when you are actively being shot at, it is for when you see trouble coming as well as keeping a low profile while travelling. I was recently speaking with someone who carries firearms with them as they travel. They put them in tool cases like DeWalt or Ryobi so as not to raise suspicion when entering the hotel.

I actually like this enough that it has made it onto my list of things to buy. I could put the AR as well as a few days of supplies into a cooler without anyone being the wiser.

    Dolomite

I know this dude, who knows this guy that uses a hardcase golf bag...doesn't get any sneaker then that.

  6. Depends where u live. My CLEO is awesome and usually has a 24 hour turn around on the paperwork. I drop it off, got to a drug store to get my pics taken, go back when they call me and into the mail it goes. Easy as pie.

    YMMV

    My last stamp:

made an appointment with the CLEO, showed up next day, spend less then 5 minutes in his office, signed my paperwork, called over to the jail, made arragements for finger prints, total time spent at the sheriff's dept 35 minutes.
