Well I decided to get a prepaid card so I could start ordering stuff and decided to order a Vortex Sparc RDS off Amazon the add clearly stated 11 left in stock
so I made the order then paid extra for overnight shipping . The next day I get an email from "Optics Planet" a merchant through Amazon telling me they don't have the optic instock and it may be up to a week or more. well I imediatly turned red feeling like I had been duped by the obvious lie stating they had 11 left in stock . So I called Optics planet and had my order canceled figuring I would just order the optic somewhere else .
That's when I realize that the money is still being held by my bank even though it was never spent so i call my bank and they tell me they can't release my money till Amazon either Faxes them or Emails them with proof that the order was canceled . So i call Amazon and they tell me they can't send any email or fax to anyone but me about my account so it looks like my freaking money will be in Limbo till the 23rd or later . So that just sucks
I started out this thing wanted to buy an optic and have it shipped overnight and due to Optics planet's false advertisement of having the Optic in stock I now have to wait till the 23rd to get my money released before I can order from someone else  /Rant

not that I have heard ... the plate on the back of the draco is a steel welded on plate if the m92 is the same you should be fine hell the mechanisim is made to bolt to the internal reciver block "seperate peice" on regular ak's and the block is nothing but metal with tapped holes to put your screws in .. which would be no different than nuts if you use lock washers or lock tight then all the better. hell most ak stocks are held on with wood screws so strong bolts and nuts in a steal plate should be just what the doctor ordered.
-
If the m92 pistol is anything like the draco just put the folding mechanisim up to the rear plate and mark the holes then drill them out with a regular bit ...Go to ace hardware and get some screws " and nuts" that match the hole size and put the nuts on the inside and use some locktight to keep them from coming loose

I bought a recoil absorbing adjustable stock for my 590. No problem installing it. It also came with a new "pump" grip. Can't find any directions on how to remove and replace the old one. Anyone know where I can get directions?.

Just figured I would ask, I was a carpenter "Framing houses" from age 16 on. Then Joined the army National Gaurd for a short time and as the Home Building began to fall apart I Joined the Union and worked for a Few years "Journeyman Carpenter" But we only had work one month out of three so I had to let that go and Have been doing IT work and Hardware "Computers, Game consoles, etc." Since then but It is not a job I like and Im not getting any younger. .
I would like to work somewhere that I would enjoy and since I really like firearms and others who have a passion for them even though I still consider myself a novice, I would Like to find a job working for a Gunsmith and/or Gunshop owner where I could start off doing whatever needs done around the place from sweeping and cleaning to sales and anything in the middle Just for the chance to learn more. I would be happy to find either a full or part time Job in this field and I would be fine starting at the bottom of the Payscale due to my lack of knowledge.
I have no criminal record, I have a Valid Drivers License, I have my Tn. HCP ,I can pass any mandatory drug test or anything of that nature, Im a hard worker and fast learner If anyone is interested shoot me a PM with your info and/or any questions you may have. Thanks

Many gun owners knew they were surrounded by gun-grabbers in this administration, yet they went ahead and voted to re-elect a President that would be the biggest threat to the 2nd Amendment in our history. No psychological spin can explain what we knew for 4 years, and yet still decide they will vote for someone they knew would come after their guns. Freud would not be able to offer any reasonable explanation.
I think it would have to do with the fact that the other option was a known gun grabber aswell and why alot of people "like more tha 2/3 of the population" didnt even vote there was no good option this election and I have a feeling that was on purpose

just took em to the range both are great shooters Im not a fan of the wood furniture on the one but that will be fixed later after I get some funds up ....I did have to take a dremel and file down most of the promags but I hear thats common so no biggie everything seems to be working flawlessly
-
Turns out my AKs have Promags on purpose seems these were built from complete parts kits by TGI and have original chrome lined barrels with tack welded muzzle devices and only a certain number of 922r compliant parts so they need american mags..... atleast till I can throw american grips and forearms on them then I can start running good mags
-
-
Still an okay deal on your end with all that. I assume he is a friend or an acquaintance, otherwise I wouldn't volunteer so many mags on your end without any decent AK74 mags coming from his. AK74 mags ain't cheap right now, and I imagine it'd take two AR mags to fetch decent AK74 mag.
Well finally got the AKs and I got to keep two of my Pmags with windows and my Troy Battle mags so im happy with the trade the Guns seem solid enough I will know more tomorrow after a trip to the range
-
Good trade IMO. AK's are going to be very hard to get over the next 4 years and I think prices are going to be going up. I think AR's are going to be dirt cheap by the end of spring and will be much easier to replace.
Obama can very easily stop imports of weapons and weapon components, not so much with domestically produced AR's.
Yeah thats kind of what I was thinking as long as I can find ammo for the dang things
Looks like a good trade so long as the two AKs aren't jacked up and it has good furniture... not TAPCO crap, but original furniture. I'd retain the Primary Arms sight though. The rail system adds value to your item. He doesn't have any good mags with it? If you have a bunch of AR mags I'd only let a few go with the rifle in the trade (3-4) and use the rest as trade/sale fodder for some good AK74 mags.
they dont have no tapco furniture and the mags arent tapco dont know why i said that they are promag still cheap stuff and no they dont come with regular mags I will let him keep the dot sight because that is one of the things he likes about the rifle mine comes with 12 mags though 2 cheapos 7 pmags and 3 troy battle mags Im gonna see about trying to keep the troys good Idea thanks

Ok well planned on buying the wife an ak74 She likes my 47 but doesnt like the donkey punch so I threw my rifle up for trade and got a fellow responded willing to trade two bulgarian ak74s on nodak spud recievers only 15 rds fired thru each rifle and they come with 8 brand new tapco mags wondering what you guys think about the swap I know the AR is a better rifle especially with all ive done to it but is it better than two rifles? any comments would be appreciated

hell If i could just find a place locally to go practice / train I would be happy even if only by myself or with you guys I would be happy Im in the chattanooga area and I just have no clue where I could go do this at Ive got a membership at a few ranges but that is the complete opposite of what I would like to practice..... standing still shooting at targets 25 feet away isnt realistic at all
-
Their are certain areas of the city at certain times when and where I wouldn't go unless I had an AR but It wouldn't be in the center of yuppyville like this guy. With that said I Open carry a lot for the simple reason that Im a skinny guy and my .45 just cant be hidden on my person, and still easily accessible in the majority of my cloths accept for right now when it is cold, my jacket covers it most of the time. Otherwise putting a T shirt over it helps None . and truly I would rather see someone Open carry a handgun than unsuccessfully try to hide it .

My wife bought me these and they are by far my favorite and you just cant beat the zipper IMO but Im kind of a 5.11 fanboy
