  1. grabagun is where 75% of my guns come from.  Never a single issue, many, many ordered from there.  all were delivered on time, and have never had a backorder come up after paying... they are good with keeping actual stock counts updated on the website I believe.

Just testing everything.  Staying powered off now except for testing the accents put up in the next phase.

I would think any gun store would like bars but being in that strip mall, the building owners may not allow it. I wouldn’t be able to sleep personally with the guns left in the open though. It would suck putting them in a safe every night but I would do it.

Hell they need to do something.. and for those saying that there doesn't need to be a regulation covering security... This type of inaction is what causes regulations to be forced upon us.  So it can be said that they don't need to do anything, I just don't want to hear the complaining when the alphabet agency comes down with some crazy measures because the owners fail to see their vested responsibility in the situation.

Guns N More got hit again last night!

Smyrna Police Department needs your help locating five suspects involved in a burglary at a local gun store.

On 11/16/17, at approximately 1:00 am, Guns N More on Sam Ridley Parkway was burglarized.  Multiple shotguns and semi-automatic rifles, along with ammunition were stolen.  The suspects gained entry by backing through the front glass entrance of the business and were using a stolen vehicle from a carjacking that occurred in Metro Nashville on 11/14/17.

The suspect vehicle is a gray 2013 Audi A4, bearing Ohio tag FTN-8532.  There were five total suspects involved, 4 masked males and 1 unmasked black female.

If anyone has information that could lead to the arrest of these suspects, or has information regarding this case, please contact Smyrna Police at 615-459-6644.

If anyone has immediate contact with this suspect vehicle, please contact your local law enforcement agency right away.

    This was me just now

Really?  I mean how many of these need to happen.  From the cost two claim deductibles they could've put up some bars.

Yeah, cause criminals would never think to drive a stolen care through a cinder block wall or come through a ceiling/roof ;) Can't really stop criminals, but glass is easier and cheaper to replace than walls.

Only gripe I have with stores is when they don't use bollards in appropriate places. Of course then they do the above.

Such great insight, I mean, if they're going to take it anyways, why even lock the doors since they're just going to break them?

How about we all go steer them some business his week to help them recover and put all these measures in place.

I wanted to wait a bit but it is time for a rimfire can. I guess I need to start the process...

I shop at places that provide me services or goods at a cost (or level of quality) that works for me, not because they ran into an issue.  No offense to them or any business on here.

Lexan windows and some steel bollards would be about $1000-$2000 installed. That's hardly the sole purview of the rich and famous.

Even if it was three or four times that amount, there must be consideration for the product being protected.  I mean, haven't we seen 3 of these smash and grabs from small stores here locally where they just had to bust out a window and run off with some guns?

  8. On another note, obviously there is no sure fire way to protect everything, but am thoroughly impressed with the measures that royal range has in place.  Not going to mention any specifics, but it seems like they are upgrading this or that on a regular basis that you would notice if you visit frequently.

This is not a jab directed specifically at Guns and More but I am seriously coming to the point where I feel that any gun shop that doesn't secure their building from simple smash and grabs with draw-down security doors and other barricades are just as negligent as anyone who leaves a gun in their vehicle for it to be stolen.

I can't believe that any insurance company will even write a policy for a gun shop that doesn't have adequate security in place to prevent quick break-ins like this.

Heard on the news the other day that there is consideration in the alphabet agency to start requiring certain security measures for gun shops.

  10. Oh, if you only have a few hundred pictures, you can store them online for free.  I wouldn't even worry about using a flash drive.  most people have thousands upon thousands, and that's where a cost for online storage would come in.  You wouldn't even be close to filling up the amount of space on a free account with Google Drive.  Plus, you would be able to access them wherever you were that has internet access, instead of having to depend on physically having access to the flash drive.

    https://www.google.com/drive/

Check out that site - you'll need to create an account, but after that is done, saving the photos is similar to the way you would do with a flash drive (except they're stored offsite)
