Sorry about the thread drift.
Haha no worries. I've decided not to try reloading aluminum cases. However, I've not decided what I'm going to do about moles yet, so please continue haha

Use them to make those anthill casts.
This idea is second only to melting Terminators haha

Seems like it's not the way to go then. Thanks for all the input guys. I'll throw it in the bucket with the steel cases.

Are they boxer or berdan primed? Originally the CCI Blazer was berdan primed to prevent reloading but I have not purchased any in awhile so I don't know about current manufacture. A quick search turned up something on Brian Enos's forum about the subject from a few years ago.
I'll check this evening and update. I'm not sure.

Depends on which version of aluminum the cases are made from. Some alloys might be reloadsble, but others likely wouldn't. Since the whole point of aluminum cases is reduced cost, I feel sure the manufacturer isn't going to spend the extra money on higher grade material that would be more amiable to reloading.
So the problem would likely be that the aluminum is too hard or too brittle to be resized?

I recently received some empty aluminum 9mm cases in a batch of misc. brass. I don't see why these can't be reloaded, but I've personally never heard of anyone actually doing it. Anyone have experience or potential issues I should be aware of? Thanks in advance.
I did a brief search on this but came up empty. My apologies if it's already been discussed. -
That looks really simple. I'd say that's the route we'll go. Thanks!

I'm not up to speed on all SCUBA tank lingo but hopefully your tanks have K valves. If so then Crosman, Air Force, Air Venturi and Benjamin make a K valve yoke adapter. Below is the Benjamin version. Also here is a link to a very helpful guide about SCUBA tanks and PCP air guns. I took it from the Pilkguns website which is a Tennessee business that I have used many times. They know their stuff. CLICK HERE: Guide to Compressed Air Usage
We do have K valve tanks. Thanks for the info! I'll keep you up to date on how the gun does when we get it.

Thanks! We're divers and have a spare tank that could be dedicated to filling the air gun, and there's a local dive shop. What's the apparatus that goes on the tank called?

Why would one of those sights necessitate cutting off the front sight?
The A2 front sight post will show up in some lower profile holographic sights. I've put an Eotech on a rifle with an A2 post before and remember seeing it in the sight picture. I don't recall whether or not it actually prevented the use of the Eotech or not.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any experience with these. My dad is wanting one. Seems like it would be pretty cool. I like how you can control the pressure. Also, can anyone recommend a good compressor?

Thanks in advance!

Most of the time, I think it's someone who wants to put an Eotech or Aimpoint on without changing the gas block. Pretty tacky, if you ask me.

Welcome! My dad used to have a lease in the Nashville area and that's where I killed my first 3 or 4 deer. I'm not sure of the best way to locate such a thing, but something to keep in mind!

I don't race ministock personally, but I have a couple friends who do. What are you looking for?

I know I'm late to the party, but plus one for the positive reviews. I've bought a rifle and several optics from him. Great guy and easy to deal with!

I've never been to Gunny's. I forgot about it earlier but you can shoot sporting clays over off 129 at chillhowie sportmans club.
They have an awesome course!

I have been to Gunnys a couple of times several years ago, not impressed with the range or the people, havent been back.
I think they've had an ownership change in the past year or two. I haven't personally been, but I've heard it's better.

Thanks! I'll check on those issues and update the post

Hey guys, a buddy of mine is having trouble with his 7400 (chambered in .270) bending case mouths. It's not terrible, but definitely noticeable at a glance. He also said it's accuracy has went downhill of late. I haven't shot it myself yet, but I've cleaned it (minus pulling the bolt and stripping copper from the barrel). Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it to bend cases, and could that be related to the alleged degradation of accuracy? Thanks in advance

Of course I am. I thought this was resolved.
EDIT...
You still had several pending invoices in your member profile. I just cancelled all of them. It should work for you now?
Fixed! Thank you David!!

Still haven't heard anything from David. Is he still around?

I think I just hit "renew" instead of cancel to fix my problem. Maybe it takes a while for the system to recognize that you cancelled the invoice?
You might consider PMing TGO David and asking him what to do.
I PM'd TGO David a couple days ago, but I haven't heard anything back. Does anyone have any more ideas? I really need to post a want ad.
