    Recently moved to Knoxville, TN from PA. I grew up here and glad to be back. Taking my HCP class (again) in 2 weeks. Even though I had a TN permit in the past, I have to go through the motions again since I moved out of state. I carry either a Glock 23 or 27.

    Is residency defined as the date you were issued your TN DL or the date you moved to the state? How do they know when you moved? I'm assuming it is 6 mo from the date the TN DL was issued. Anyone know for sure?
