Why do you have dual A/F gauges? One for each bank? I need to pick up a wideband.

I am still fabricating my intake and exhaust. I need to make some calls to figure out which turbo I need for my build. Going to run a PIMPxs, sequential fuel injection as well as probably going with LS coil on plug coils.

I run two so I can see what's happening on each bank.

    I run these: http://www.aemelectronics.com/?q=products/gauges/digital-gauges/x-series-wideband-uego-OBDII

They're pretty much plug and play and work with HPTuners.

  2. I work in corrections. I supervise some bad mofos.

I've worked all the maximum security units where the baddest of the bad are housed.

Right now, my post is Death Row. I call it the country club for killers for a reason.

    We have levels, A, B and C.

A levels are able to walk around me free as a bird, no cuffs, shackles, nothing. :)

We qualify with and carry weapons only outside on patrol, medical runs, transport to court, etc. But inside, we have nothing. Not a baton, mace, I mean nothing. If it goes down, all you have is a red panic button on your radio that sets off a body alarm in central control, and your hands, fists and feet. Well, I do wear a shank vest (looks like a bullet proof vest) and a face shield. Face shields worn on units 1 and 3. If you piss them off, they'll try to spit on you or sling ####/piss on you. knock on wood, I've not pissed an inmate off enough to get "#### out" as they call it. :)

Shanks are found often. They have them, we don't. lol

LEO's catch them, we CO's have to live with them.

I just wanted to try something different. I actually like it. But I'll probably move in to some other branch of law enforcement before it's over.

  3. Swapped to the Cold Air Inductions with JRE Scoop because the Vararam had too much turbulence to tune for and it was a heat sucker until 3rd gear at the drag strip.

Got my AEM widebands AFR's on too.

Those make tuning a lot easier.

I purchased the Surefire Ryder 22-A suppressor in a moment of weakness. At the time of the purchase, I was waiting for my Dead Air Mask to arrive at my dealer. As you can see, my impatience got the best of me. I am happy that I did or else I would have never given this can a chance. It sits permanently on my Tactical Solutions X-Ring 10/22 rifle. The rifles weighs 4.3 LBS unloaded. Therefore, I wanted a lightweight can for the rifle. I am thoroughly pleased with the can thus far.

I would have no issue if you were interested in joining me at the range one day to try the can yourself.

Is that the Hogue stock on that rifle?

    This? http://www.tacticalsol.com/x-ring-series-rifles/copy-of-x-ring-rifle-with-hogue-stock-fem8z

I like yours. Might pick one up and suppress it.

The Surefire the quietest suppressor for it?

  5. Ordered:

Custom Maryland Speed Kooks SS ceramic coated stepped headers with AFR bung

Kooks catless ceramic coated connection pipes

Cold Air Inductions CAI with JRE scoop and Rotofab window washer resivoir relocation kit

AEM OBD II wideband AFR kit.

Next will be GMPP CNC LS3 heads, VCT cam and DOD delete stuff.

This Slomaro should be a little quicker soon. :)

  6. A death sentence would be the easy way out. They are protected from the other inmates up to the time they are humanely executed. If it were my family I would want them to do their time and suffer.

TN death row is a Country Club for killers. You wouldn't believe how good they live. It would probably actually piss you off to see it.

TN death row is the only death row that has a levels system.

A levels get out like minimum security inmates. They are free to move around day room and outdoor recreation with no restraints. They have a fully stocked law library, arts and crafts, and school programs. Religious volunteers, students from Vanderbilt University teach philosophy class, etc.

B levels are a bit more restricted and are restrained to and from day room, recreation, etc.

C levels are treated like maximum security inmates. They're locked down 23 hours a day, are moved in full restraints with 2 officers escorting when they go to recreation, or shower.

Child molesters locked up at RMSI for instance, if they're minimum security, trustees, etc., they live good too. They move around freely, can work and make a little money for commissary, etc. The low side has leather working, basketball gym, etc. They are not liked by other inmates, but for the most part, other low security inmates don't want to lose their jobs and what freedom they have over extorting or assaulting a molester, so they're basically left alone. If they do get targeted, they get moved in to protected custody and locked up in a max unit where no other inmates have physical contact with them.

You'd be surprised, but they actually have it better than you think. It's shocking. Bleeding heart liberals and hug a thugs have fought and made prison a decent place to retire for criminals.

  7. Nice AK's fellas!

I need to pick up a couple more myself.

Anyone know if RWC aka Saiga is back up?

I know they had a lot of new stuff coming out, but I've not seen anything produced yet.

Yes. It is a stroked LS2 block with PRC 237 heads and a Ed Curtis spec cam 236/244 114+2 with .631 lift. It still has the old Grotyohann 1 3/4" headers in the pic. It now has Kooks 1 7/8" headers.

I'm thinking about doing a VCT cam on my SS and delete that stupid DOD junk. Then LT's with high flow cats.

I already have HP Tuners. Gong to attempt to tune for that Vararam intake.

    2000 Camaro SS 6 Speed

Bought it new 2 weeks after my youngest was born and she drives it school now occasionally. It went 11.9@115 with the stock heads/cam/shortblock. With ported factory heads and a little cam best was 11.2@124. Stepped up to a 6.6 with after market heads and a good sized cam a couple of years ago but never finished the tuning. It still is very rich at WOT. Intended build number was 600.

    So it's a 6.6L now?

What heads and cam did you go with?
