I am new to Cheatham County and am looking for a outdoor firing range, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I understand there is one in Ashland City which would be close to me but I have no idea where it is. Thanks, Sigbear

Although I have been a member of this forum for a year plus, my wife and I just moved to Cheatham County Tennessee. We have been visiting TN for almost 20 years and we always knew we would live here someday. We can't wait to shoot at some of the local ranges and meet some more wonderful people. Sigbear

CCW On Kentucky/Tennessee TVA Land? With the National Park carry bill going through congress is there anything on the table for changing the gun laws on TVA land in Kentucky/Tennessee? My wife and I sail on Kentucky Lake and frequently Sail/hike/wilderness camp on Land Between The Lakes where it is illegal to carry a firearm. We want to retire in this area and buy a 30' sailboat, however, I am not comfortable being unarmed in a wilderness area. What about having a loaded handgun on a sailboat for protection on the lake?
