Hey all, first post here. I am finally happy to find some info on this powder.I bought some at a gun show in Knoxville back in the spring when I needed pistol powder. It came in 5 lb jugs marked surplus pistol powder and its gray flake just like in the pics above. I bought two jugs. However, my labels didn't have starting loads on them, they had grain loads and fps info on them. From this I worked up a nice 45acp load 230 grain bullet load as well as a nice 9mm 147 grain bullet load. I dig the recoil from this powder, somewhat like Unique in 45 and not as snappy as Titegroup for 9mm. It burns well with no unburnt flakes in lower powered rounds, cleaner than Unique,Universal,Titegroup, and 231.
