They can't do what they wanna do with an armed society.
Let alone a well trained, battle hardened, part of that society.

In all fairness, when you get hit..sh#t gets weird. First aid kit usually goes on at least one guys chest rig. Everyone knows who has is, but honestly not everyone knows how to use it. We are just night hunters, but we keep I tight. Two of use a up to speed and the idea we'd both get hit is not likely.
Yea, that is what I was pointing out. If you are hit, you will face adrenaline spikes, and possibly shock. Having muscle memory helps immensely when having to act during those circumstances.

A great example of the use and need to practice is in the just released video of the officer involved shooting up near Knoxville recently. The female officer was shot in the leg and went for her tourniquet but it looked like she was unable to apply it to her leg properly. The civilian that stopped to help applied it and followed her directions as to how much pressure to apply. I don't know the extent of her injury but the extra minute or two to apply could have cost her if it had been to her femoral artery. Thank goodness she survived, and hope it wasn't just to the application of the tourniquet but of a less severe injury.

Hey TGOers. My mom wants to get my dad some NV of some sort. Handheld monocular or binos would be fine, doesn't have to be actual goggles. They just want to watch deer in the yard at night.
She said $200-300 range. Is it even possible to find something that actually works well enough to watch deer in that price range? Distance would probably be under 50 yards. They come up pretty close to the house. They can hear them moving in the tall grass at night but can't see them. Longer distances would be better, of course. They have a large empty field behind the house with max distance being 200-300 yards away, but he'd need magnification to watch deer at that distance.
Something like these maybe?

Yup, Darrell pegged it. What you are doing is feeling the resistance on the case, neck/body, or the expander in the neck and that is moving the handle. Follow the instructions Darrell posted, which are what Lee recommends, and it should size the case fine. I will add though, be sure to lube the cases, 223/5.56 are the only ones I have gotten stuck in the sizing die, more than once.

+1 what greg asked, and did the primers come out? If they did then something is not right, by the time the pin goes through the flash hole, the expander should have went through the neck. Talk us through how you setup your sizing die, so we can see if there are any obvious issues. Oh, and don't be embarrassed to let us know if you screwed up something, we've all been there, some of us more than once

When was the last time you received a collect call?
I remember making a collect call to the office years ago. The man who always answered the phone was nearly deaf. He kept telling the operator “Greg’s not here!” Lol.
Remember: You have a collect call from "I'm running a little late, will be there in 10 minutes"

Let me guess, one of the TN11?
QuoteAccording to Mitchell, the idea came from a voter in the opposing party. At a recently-held town hall meeting in Bellevue, Mitchell said a man stood up, identified himself as an avid hunter and a Republican who owned several guns and proposed a solution to the gun issue in Tennessee.
“He said if you want to solve this, one way to solve the gun problem is why don’t you sponsor a bill putting a tax on the sale of firearms,” Mitchell said. “I said, ‘I’ll be happy to file that bill for you.'”

$20.00 for all sounds like a great price!

I’ve never purchased from them. According to their website, they have part of what I want and the rest is out of stock. Do they have a storefront, or just mail order?
Small store front, but their site is pretty updated, except sometimes when they get small shipments that are not enough to place on the site, like primers when everyone was out of stock, and primed cases.

He is a stupid kid that inserted himself into a situation he never should have been in. Luckily for him he got away with it.
Of what interest is his “traumatic ordeal” to anyone?
More so than a thug's mom trying to talk up her dead son whom she never GAF about until he could make bank for her.

He went through a traumatic ordeal, was dealt a ####ty hand by leftist politicians for defending himself. You have people that go through less, thug's family members such as Michael brown's mom raking in the cash because they sold the public a bs story and made a hero out of him, and it goes on and on. So why not him?
