  1. I'm looking for a place to pick up military MRE's. The First Strike Ration to be more specific seen them on the inter web but looking for some were to buy local so i can see what i am buying and check the date and condition any help would be great oh btw i live in Murfreesboro area
  2. What's the goal we have as hunters? Do we want as many people as we can get buying hunting license and going into the woods to enjoy the sport? That's what I want.

I don't care what you hunt with, I don't care what deer you shoot, so long as it's legal. Let's make it easy for folks to get into the woods. One price for deer hunting instead of 3 separate stamps and a type 94 for doe that TWRA wants us to take anyway.

I don't see any point in making the process of killing any more difficult. We have a shortage of hunters, not a shortage of deer.

    I agree
I wish the TWRA would set a flat fee to hunt deer with your tool of choice pick a starting date and a closing date then let us hunt the whole season
  3. No trailer hitch on the Tribute....Looks like I'll do the Mafia method. Roll it up in an old rug and toss it in the trunk. :)

I know a guy that did this with a deer got blood on the back of the car drove back to Nashville got pulled over for speeding cop saw the blood and freaked out got a little tense till the cop poped the trunk and saw Bambi's mom looking at him and yes it was a Lincoln Continental

  4. A sound plan!

One suggestion is that you might want to phone the Anniston Store a day before you head down. "Mr. M1 Garrand" Leon or others of their super staff will be able to tell you what they have on the sales floor.

You will meet a bunch of nice folks both staff and customers; all willing to share their knowledge of picking out a couple of fine Garand's.

Thanks for the advice I have already have a M1 carbeam that my uncle left me and now if I can find a good old m14 in will have a complete set of USGI rifles from WWll till present
  5. Used to live out in Lavergne had 26 acre track behind the house would bring my friend who is wheelchair bound over and set him up on the back deck with his cross bow and let him have at it he would shoot I would track was kind of fun droping deer like the duck men but like everyone has already said talk to the locals first and get there blessings
  6. Well, I can say that, as big a fan as I am of the TSX bullets, Pierce Ammo (Nugent)'s loading of it (70gr) had the accuracy of a limetstone pebble shot out of a potato gun. ... might of just been me & the LW... :)
I have 2 boxes of it if anyone wants to buy them.
