Thanks for the review.

This class was extremely well organized with not a wasted moment. One thing that I didn't address in the article was the NLTA gear. They were very careful not to endorse any one product, and we were exposed to several different types so that we could get first hand experience with each.I'll say this: if you volunteer to play suicide bomber for another students scenario, make sure that you have a good helmet as a sim round in your ear hole will cause it to ring for a while...

Thank you all for the kind words.

I wrote a piece about an experience this past week. This type of thing was nothing unique or special, but it does paint the picture of how thin the line is between shots fired or just handcuffs.

I've been very pleased with:
They hosted Tom Givens as an instructor this past May and I took classes from them afterwards. They are good guys that are very customer focused.
I haven't taken a class from these guys, but I have been in a class with them. They seem like good folks. -
I'm watching an episode right now.

Ronnie Dodd is good people.

I am the organizer of this course, but I have no financial interest in it. If posting this is against the rules, I will take my thumping respectfully.
Barrow County, GA, is about 30 minutes west of Athens. The range is off of Hwy 316 which is a major highway running between I-85 and Athens.

Nothing wrong with rolling like Barney Miller. That is one of my favorite shows.

Cool. I have already taken it too, I am just always curious to see other people's take on the material.
How many people were in the classes? I was hoping there would be a good turnout and hoping to get a good representation of TGO members.
Nine or 10 were in the wheelgun class. I think it was 15 for the shotgun class.

Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the class so thanks for the review....did you also do the shotgun class on Sunday?
I was Tom's assistant for Sunday. I have taken the class as a student previously.
I will have a write up on th shotgun class this evening or tomorrow. -
Howdy to all of the folks here. I follow this section of the forum to watch for training opportunities. This past weekend I visited your fine state to attend the Rangemaster Defensive Revolver Skills course. You can read my review of it here.
If any of you were in the class, it was fun shooting with you.

The Marshals had long guns and got shot up by Gordon Kahl.
Look at the NFL. Every team has great athletes, but some teams just don't get it together. Tactics and determination and to a large extent culture can be the winning edge.
