I wonder, you think that they came up with this idea after listening to an Eagles song maybe?
People do that all the time to make money. I went to the sold out Ozzie tour "No More Tours" promised to be his last back in the early 90's.
I dont like country music but Brooks and Dunn did have a great career.

Have you looked at the Camelbak BFM? It's my deployment jump bag and many team members use and love it.

Sweet memories. Showbiz Pizza was one of my favorite places as a kid.

every year i get addicted to the tour, watch the live coverage, then the replays throughout the day. I hope Lance can pull it off again this year. i love cycling, i was totally bummed that the Tour de Georgia was cancelled this year, we always followed it around Georgia.

Definitely take the Rider Education class. Depending on where you live, these classes fill up early so it may take a little while to get into a class. As for helmets and gear, expensive doesnt always equal safer. All DOT/Snell rated helmets meet the same safety requirements, more money does usually get you more comfort and toys. As for gear, buy what you can afford, all leather gloves protect more but cheaper leather/mesh gloves are better than no gloves. Where are you located? Motorcycle shops will hate me for saying this but I always try on gear locally to get the right size and then go shopping online. You can save alot of $$$ online. www.motorcyclecloseouts.com, www.newenough.com, www.motorcyclesuperstore.com, www.bikebandit.com, and www.kneedraggers.com are good places to look for cheap gear. Back to helmets, in my personal opinion Scorpion helmets are the best for the price, many features found in expensive helmets for half the price. Hope this helps.

I know this isnt a sales category but I am selling my 2003 SV1000s. I only say this because a few people have posted up about a V twin sportbike. Its for sale on several motorcycle forums and craigslist. PM if interested in pics or info.

Thumbs up for Big River. That is probably our favorite place to eat in Chattanooga. Im glad to hear that some owners are using some common sense.
-
i saw it on the news too. no big loss there. i thought that the Big Chill was a bar anyway, not a restaurant, not really sure why they interviewed that dude.
-
Thanks for the input, i really dont ever see it being a problem, when I carry its very hard to tell and Im not about to show my tail anyway.
-
I am so ready for this dumbass' term to be over.

Ok, I'll admit that i need some clarification on question #3. If the place isnt posted and Im asked to leave, can it be anyone that works there or does it have to be an owner/management type person? I was just wondering because there could be one anti-gunner trying to be an ass in a large business that generally has no rule against carrying. Opinions??

I am suggesting that if a college student feels safer and wants to put on a level IIA or IIIA piece of armor under their clothes when they walk onto a campus in this state--they should be allowed to do so without being looked at as a cook, or possible terrorist--especially considering that campuses in this state are gun free zones--and we all know about gun free zones don't we...gun free zones are prime targets for people like Seung Hui Cho...
of course I am also an advocate of campus carry by students.
of course i support campus carry and if a college kid wants to armor up who cares. The only part of your comment i questioned was the Columbine part, those were high school kids in a rural area. a terrible thing happened there but I dont really think we need to wrap our kids up in BA. Its your money, wear a kevlar helmet to Walmart for all i care.
-
Tell that to the families of those 32 students of VT. Tell that to the families of the Columbine victims.
are you suggesting that i should send my kids to school wearing body armor? yes, bad stuff happens but thats just crazy.

if i ever got so paranoid that i needed to wear a vest everyday, i would quit my job and get a job stuffing envelopes at home or something. i work in a pretty dangerous place, i get worried sometimes but not that worried.

That is one great story, thanks for sharing it.

its crazy how unpredictable it is. I went to the Ooltewah location about the same exact time and there wasnt anything to be had. nice find, thanks for sharing.

Welcome from yet another Chattanoogan

$35 a year is less than 10 cents per day. So I have to say it is very much worth it.
+1 small price to pay
