  1. Hello and thanks for the responses. Inside house and the two houses next to me are about 15 ft and 25 ft away. 12ga and intruder.
  2. Hello, I am new to shotguns and just received mine, but I am uncertain which ammo I need for home self defense. I was trying to get through the jungle of different ammunition, but it is impossible. Can someone please tell me which I need? Maybe brand , # Shot, oz, FPS. Thank you very much.
  3. I consulted an attorney who is also a director for the TN firearms associations. I also contacted Chief of Police Anderson (Davidson County) and waiting for a response.
  4. Does this also apply to any events in the parks?
  5. Hello, I tried to find anything about carrying a gun at an event at the Centennial Park in Nashville. The only statement I can still find is the note on the Nashville website. Source: http://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/About-Us/Park-Police.aspx There is an event i am attending as a vendor and would like to carry my gun. http://www.nashvillehumane.org/Events/Dog_Day_Festival/ Does anyone know exactly if it is allowed now or not after Gov. Haslam signed that bill? Thank you
  6. Thanks. What do you think would happen if someone carries a concealed gun in such establishment and an attack would occur. The intruder got killed by the concealed carrying person. Will this concealed carrying person celebrate as a hero or punished with the law?
  7. Ahh, ok. Got it. As for my understanding, they have to use this line on a sign to comply with the law? AS AUTHORIZED BY T.C.A. § 39-17-1359, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON ON POSTED PROPERTY OR IN A POSTED BUILDING IS PROHIBITED AND IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE If they just use a sign with "No Guns" (or similar) this is not the right way?
  8. Thank you guys. After I read your comments I did some search and came across this: http://www.tennessean.com/story/news/politics/2016/01/15/bill-allows-suits-over-gun-free-zone-incidents/78862948/ This is the bill. It looks like it went through, doesn't it? http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=SB1736&ga=109
  9. I do not want to risk getting caught. If they call the cops on you it is a felony here in TN. It seems that all the theaters have now no guns policy. Stupid.
  10. Hello, does anyone know if there is a movie theater left in Nashville area where concealed carrying is allowed? Thank you
