  1. thanks guys...i guess im just a little scared...
  2. Some pics in this thread....they are pretty bad pics though... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gunsmithing-troubleshooting/48930-dinged-cases.html
  3. Jeff...it seems they are going everywhere...but...mostly around 11 to 3 o clock...it's a pain in the ass to find my brass with this gun.
  4. I can still see the dent after resizing...don't worry about it?
  5. That is exactly what I'm concerned about...reloading dented cases. As stated in another thread...maybe im just being picky, but, I'm very paranoid about damaged cases when I'm reloading. When I run these cases through the resizer...I can still see the dent...should I worry about it or keeping on loading?
  6. These are featured in this months Playboy article-Mantrack.... Windproof, Waterproof Matches Lots of other cool stuff there too...
  7. Ive chambered a round slowly, like you said, and I understand what you are saying, but....it would seem that this would cause a "crease" rather than the "dents" im seeing. The dent looks ALMOST like a firing pin strike...not nearly as extreme, but similar.
  8. I asked this question in another thread, but, I think it may be more appropriate here.... I have noticed that my Rock Island Officers model is denting cases. The dents are fairly sharp and are about halfway down the case. Anyone know what causes this? Can it be fixed?
  9. Sorry for not enough information...I am currently loading .45 ACP...the brass that I bought, had a bunch of cases that had "dents" halfway down the case. These dents scare me...am I being too careful? Also, the dents made me curious about what causes this...anyone know? I started looking at my brass, stuff I've shot recently, and my Rock Island Officers model is denting cases just like I found in the batch I bought.

    Glock?

Ok...I have no feelings either way, but....with all the Glock "love" out there...why are the classifieds FILLED with people wanting to sell Glocks? I thought they were supposed to be the best weapon on the planet....if so...WHY sell one?
  15. Just wondering what the rest of you reloaders do with cases that have dents and dings...throw them away?...load them anyway?....see what the resizing die does? How big of a dent is too much?....how big of a ding is too much? Do you throw away all brass that has dings in it? I purchased 500 pieces of used brass a little while back....I finished 400 rounds tonight...i have 6 pieces of brass left. So...with plus or minus 500 total...i've thrown out approximately 100 pieces. Is this normal?
  16. Guys...ignore this douche and she will fade away in the night....keep feeding her and she'll stay here.
  17. ...very nice JPS....awesome gesture...and I hope your wife is proud that she is helping too...very nice of her as well.
  18. Do you mind telling everyone what they are?
  19. Exactly what I did...over a year ago. Still working great for me.
  20. If WHAT is illegal?...putting a sticker on someone else's establishment?...well...of course it's illegal....if they SEE you do it...
  21. 2 weeks ago i saw one in a dumpster in Banner Elk, NC...4 days later I saw one on the side of 11w in surgoinsville...
