  1. I'm looking into shooting ranges near my home in Williamson County. I don't have a permit to carry a concealed weapon, so how do I transport my rifles to the gun range? To clarify, am I allowed to carry it with the ammunition in my car? Does it need to be somewhere I can't reach it (like in the cargo area of my SUV)? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, My father gifted a CZ 257, .233 American to my son. He's 16 years old and we shoot at the range together. I'm familiar with .22 (rifles & hand guns), .38 & .45 handguns and my favorite is an old 30-06 rifle. What what kind of kick does a 257 in comparison? What would it be used for other than target shooting? We'll take it out once I get ammo, but I'm curious if it'll be really satisfying like shooting with a 30-06 or a little on the mild side like a .22 rifle. Thanks!
  3. Hi all! I moved to Williamson County, TN 9 years ago. When my family left California, my father gave my son a CZ 257 rifle that is registered in his name in California. I put it in storage and never used it or transferred the registration to my name. That storage space is rented by my ex and I need to remove the rifle, so it's coming to my home. Would it be illegal for me to have a rifle in my home that's registered to my father in California? I am eligible to legally own a fire arm and even have a background clearance to volunteer in TN schools. Does TN require gun owners to have them registered in their name?
  4. Hi all! I own a CZ 257, .233 American. The whole bolt is missing and I need to replace it. Will I need to send this rifle to a gun smith or is this a part I can buy at a shop or on the internet? I'm not very familiar with gun lingo so please keep it simple for me! Thanks!
