    NICE! I have an ex-sniper that I would like to retrofit with the original style optic...will probably just get modern reproduction as I don't even know IF it can be redrilled and tapped. Any ideas?

    Hi! Found the site while looking for a gunsmith and thought this may be a good place for recommendations (I'll post in the appropriate forum). Any how, I really enjoy shooting rifle and pistol alike, and of course I have a shotgun to round out the collection. I tend to be a platform/type collector (eg., AR, HK, AK, SKS, Mauser, Mosin, bolt action, self feeding, modern, C&R, U.S., Eastern Block, European, etc)! I have barely scratched the surface! Here is an example of a modern, bolt action scouting-type 308 - I really enjoy firing this piece of equipment. However I think I'll swap out the current muzzle device for a brake.
