    SBR Stamp

Has anyone put in for an SBR stamp lately. Instead of waiting for the ATF to ban the brace I was thinking about just putting in for a stamp on all my AR pistols. Does anyone follow what is going on with the Brace closely and have a very educated guess on where it will all land. Pretty sure I will do it anyways would love to hear the pro's and con's of just stamping my pistols
  14. Just throwing it out there` I am quite sure you all are as passionate as me about guns. I have spent thousands of hours reading books and magazines and paying special attention when the subject is accuracy. I have also spent countless hours watching videos and programs on the same. I have built a lot of AR-15's and have thousands of dollars in tools to do it right. Barrel dimpling gas block pinning lapping and fitting tools. I have even started to rebarrel bolt action rifles. I have rebarrelled one Remington and five Savages. I just spend way too much on my so called hobby that I wonder when I can start putting my name out there and making a few dollars off of the thousands of dollars in tools that I have acquired. Just wondering if you all have spent that kind of money on tools to get the utmost accuracy out of your personal firearms and think the same way. I would love to hear your thoughts.
  15. This may cause trouble but I won't carry my strikers with one in the pipe. I just add racking the slide to my training at the range. I will however carry one in the pipe with my Berretta with the decocker I have never felt safer carrying one in the chamber. You are all cussing me right now but just a few month ago in Smyrna a 5 year old took a gun out of his fathers backpack at Lee Victory park on Sam Ridley. The first thing a young kid does when he picks up a gun is puts his thumb through the trigger guard and grips the handgun both of which release a beaver tail safety and the scissor trigger safety and also leaves the barrel pointed right at his head. Unless he knows to trip the decocker on say my Berretta the trigger is useless. Not to say all hammers are safer but that decocker on my 92FS has made me so comfortable carrying with one in the chamber I just love it. And yes my kids are very educated in firearm safety but it is a story you hear on the news around here every few months so obviously some aren't training their kids as for me I will carry the safest gun I know of. All of my best shooting guns are striker and I do carry just not one in the pipe.
