I used to use Silencershop because their single shot trusts were so easy, but the last time around the Form 3 for them to transfer it to my local SS dealer took over a week, and then it took my dealer another week of "getting things ready". Now that form 4 approvals for cans are down to <1 week, it's less tolerable to wait a couple of weeks from time of purchase until the form 4 clock starts. After that experience, I started taking my business to the folks at Tennessee Silencer over in Seymour because they have a ton of in stock cans and they'll get your paperwork submitted right there while you wait. I really think if approval times stay this fast, Silencershop is going to lose market share to any local shops that have inventory on hand and know how to handle eforms efficiently.

Sorry to hear about the wrist! That's a bummer. I did see that they're working on getting a 200 yard range in their handbook, and I can deal with a 100 yard range for a year or two while that's developed. A lot of my time lately has been spent on PCCs inside of 50 yards so that's not a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the info! It's much appreciated.

I've been looking for a local outdoor range/club to join, and Gatlinburg Sportsman's Club has come up as being within a reasonable distance for me. Their rules and bylaws all look very reasonable to me, but before I commit I'd love to chat with others about their experience and maybe ask a few questions. If any current or former members are out there, I'd be very thankful if you'd share your general experience.

It's a 24" barrel. With the flash hider, it's 26". The flash hider has a small tack weld securing it, but I'd guess it wouldn't be bad to remove.

I don't have Keymo, but from what I've read and heard from other it's common for people to not use enough force when threading on suppressors, so when the mount is locked it's not properly aligned. Obviously you can make yourself aware of the issue and make sure you're using enough torque, but it seems to me the high number of Keymo baffle strikes will hurt your ability to use a non-DA can and get warranty service if you do get a baffle strike (like expendable mentioned with OCL's announcement).
